DF83V vs Timemore 078S. Which is the best coffee grinder for under $1k?

The missaligned grind indicator would give me rage every morning. They cheaped out on that part... DF64V GEN2 best grinder atm.

In my latest experience with espresso, I prioritize workflow over other aspects, as I find only small differences in taste between different grinders and burr sets. If I have a coffee that I like, the grinder matters even less—simply changing the basket gives me a 99% success rate. But its not the same with filter coffee.

How much seasoning on the 078S?
Do you use the knocker for filter or dump the extra fines?
Personally, even for espresso, I tend to updose by .5g and don't use the knocker as it adds extra fines.

Femobook a68 is my pick, bought it a couple of months ago and also considered these two grinders since they're comparitaively priced.
a68 wins out on construction, all magnetic, and simplicity of design with conical alignment is a given. I think the coffee quality is probably very comparable across the three

078s for pourover, you mention you can go up to 18 grind setting…what approximate setting were you using for for the cup in this video?
