Having to deal with European colonial domination for close to four centuries and the disenfranchisement of our people by the pillage and exploitation of our lands to fund the Industrial Revolution, we in this part of the diaspora are keenly aware of our African origin so you'd be hellbent to find any person of African descent who disregard their roots, obviously there are the exceptions and the few indoctrinatated Uncle Toms but they are the exception rather than the rule.
Don't put that on us, we resoundingly resent that.
