I bought a Yamaha Portable with fantastic Grand Hammer Design. It is basically the front end of a baby-grand. It is not light and has several piano sounds. I connect it to my computer, and it becomes a MIDI trigger for my vast selection of sounds. In Fairlight, it becomes an analogue synth. Best choice for me.

I think 76 keys make it still awkward to handle and transport. So, I would rather have 88 keys. There is no excuse for not having 88 keys. I can plug in my own speakers.

Hi Jeremy, could you please advise me on a good 61 key keyboard (portable). Last week I bought the Yamaha NP15 and was so disappointed. Slippery keys and no nice feeling in the keys, so I will return it. At home I play on Kawai ES-110 which I love, before that Casio CT-S1, after your review of it :) I liked Casio but wanted 88 keys. I need something in the price range like NP15. Do you have any suggestions?

i got my first keyboard from my uncle it's an yamaha f50 everyone said that it's not a good begginer keyboard but i didn't pay for it neither did i know how to play so i learned on this keyboard and bought a new midi later down the line doesn't matter which gear u buy but ur skills ☺

The Roland Go:Key has pretty great features and is so portable. Then again on good keys you need to speed double the money (400€) and then have less portability and sound. Would be so great if there would be a roland go keys with the same sounds and features but just better keys. Maybe for like 300€ then

Hi JeremySee, Idk if you still remember me, but I'm so glad to see your channel growing. I have a request, So I want a few tips or a tutorial on how to make your chords sound gospel.

My biggest problem with owning a Yamaha P515 is that it doesn't sound like a piano, it just sounds piano'ish , so I cannot imagine this being any better sitting at the bottom. They all sound great on these videos but not when you are sitting in front of them.

It doesn't matter on stage if they sound piano'ish because of all the other noise, but they do not have the piano down pat yet, maybe in another 50 years. lol

How do those interested in piano meet other musicians in the real world? Everything seems either guitar/vocal/band based, but I would love to grow my circle.

The Roland FP-10 is superiour at this price point.

Does it have any key resistance? I have a Casio keyboard with touch 'response' but no action - so it's very lightweight and very off-putting when you are suddenly presented with a real piano.

Jeremy , can you help me with this Q plz ? I bought yamaha psr 473 last week , is there a way to turn it back jnto factory reset ? Because when i want to record on the internal tracks it only let me use the 1st track. I cant record the 2nd sound on another track , like it did a day before . Maybe something happened when i booted up the board and i hold down the left key (it said it turn off the auto off that way)

I want to surprise my lil sis this xmas with gift but don't want to spend much since she doesn't know how to play yet and just show interest. I'll buy more capable one once i see improvements. Technology has come a long way. In the past toy pianos with 2 octaves were just toys. Learners must default to an acoustic upright. Like playing a half size violin students can buy before the full size one if they continue playing after a year.

A video about beginner's gear toward playing Dungeon Synth would be great. I can give Burzum's Tomhet, or Mortiis Crypt of the Wizard as an example.
