How To Save SHSH2 Blobs For iOS DOWNGRADE / Jailbreak ON A12 and A13 Devices (iPhone 11, XS, XR etc)

iphone xr is it possible?

So if I jail break my iphone XS and go through these steps then i can downgrade from 14.5.1 to 14.4.2? Is that what blobs are for? I post them to a server that allows me do have authorization to downgrade? PLEASE HELP!

wtf but i need the blobs to jailbreak and you say you need to be jailbroken to get the blobs', so im stuck on 14.4.2

It's mentioned that for A11 or A12 devices a jailbreak is required to dump the blobs. I recently used blobsaver to save the blobs. but I'm now trying to figure out, do I need a jailbreak in order to downgrade to a different iOS using the blob?

If you use the system info tweak do you still need to do this?

why do tutorials always skip steps on parts where I get stuck at -__-. Installing the dependencies in terminal gives me errors but I wouldn't know if I did it wrong because the tutorial didn't show it and just skimmed over what we're supposed to do.

You can use blobsaver or 3uTools. I used 3uTools and blobsaver and had no issues. Both saved my NONCE.

Does this work with Chimera? I'm on iPhone XS (iOS 12.0) and plan to save 14.0.1 blobs. Will I be able to upgrade to 14.2 and downgrade back down to 14.0.1 when a jailbreak becomes available for it? Considering it will become unsigned by the time 14.2 is out.

E: unable to locate package .checkinstall
E: couldn’t find any package by glob ‘ .checkinstall’

For Linux you do need home brew or at least I did 👍

I can't get this to work. When installing the dependencies I get errors for all but 3 of them. It tells mit there is no available formula with this name. Anyone got the same problem?

I have saved blobs for 13.5 on 11 pro max. Is it safe to update to iOS 14? Im getting the apple watch series 6 soon (which only works on iOS 14) and I want to be able to use it when I get it, so I saved the blobs on 13.5, would it be safe to update to iOS 14? so if iOS 14 is never jailbroken on A13 I can go back to 13.5? Thanks in advance!

when I run the irecovery -q | grep NONC command this is what I get: "irecovery: error while loading shared libraries: libirecovery-1.0: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory" any ideas? I have tried to reinstall irecovery multiple times and it is installing fine. Please help!

Do you recommend Blobsaver? It's an automatic tool that lets you save your blobs without commands, even for later phones. I found it on the r/jailbreak reddit.

For those who have Catalina installed and cannot get your ECID. First put your device in recovery mode. Open up "System Information" which can be found in Applications/Utilities/System Information. Then under "Hardware", select "USB". Then Select "Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode)". You will find it in the "Serial Number" row. It should say ECID.
