I currently have a destroyed Bahia lawn. Had “help” from a landscaper last year during summer bc of my job was busy. Fungus, weeds, and crabgrass infestation destroyed my lawn. I’ve tried the image product and it just didn’t do ANYTHING to any of the weeds in my lawn.

Have you tried the reciprocating trimmer instead of your string weed eater? The rotary knife edges don't sling grass everywhere and produce a crew cut knife edge 90 degree edge on the driveway and street. I used to have a lawn service and that guy would fire grass all over the house with his weed eater. He used it at a 30 degree angle so he just chewed up the edges of my lawn; moved my garden edge every time he mowed; and ruined my garden edges. I fired him for treating my lawn like a baby factory. These guys have too many lawns... they show up; chew up your lawn; use zero radius riding mowers right after the rain trenching the lawn; and don't clean up their work. I finally decided to do it myself and one of the first things I did was replace my weed eater with a Stihl RG-KM reciprocating trimmer attachment. One of the most satisfying things I've ever done (other than driving an air cooled Porsche 911.. LOL) is trimming with my reciprocating trimmer. They don't chew up fence posts and siding either.

I live in coastal NC and have a weed infested centipede lawn. Would it be ok to apply weed killer in October? If so, what would you use and do you know if its dangerous for animals. I have two dogs. Thank You.

What's a good practice for after spraying the weeds and they die? Can I just leave them there or do i need to remove them afterwards?

I love this channel. I have St. Augustine in FL and had always fertilized 2x a year and spot treated weeds and my lawn always was in pretty good shape. This year I had a bad dollar weed and chinch bug infestation simultaneously, then a bunch of spittle bugs and moths in the yard and it's been an uphill battle all summer. I have now become OBSESSED with my lawn and get I some great pointers on this channel. Even once I reclaim my lawn I can tell this obsession will remain.
Also do you have any videos that address topdressing the lawn with compost? I'm trying to aid new growth by putting down some more substance for new roots to establish in.

I prefer to spot spray, wait bout 3 days, then put down weed/feed. Fininshes off any remaining weeds/ sedlings missed plus helps my lawn recover quicker.

Massey came 3 weeks ago july 1 and I didnt have any weed when they showed up ,now Im loaded with weeds. I believe all they did was fertilize. I appears this SIDA weed is going full bore. I fired them they would not return my call. What can I use this time of year. Will IMAGE weed killer work? thx

Image didn’t work for me on Bahia grass, had to go with 2-4 d .

Some varities of Image need to be watered in 1 to 7 days after application as it kills weeds through the roots. The directions also say to not apply Image immediately after mowing the lawn. Wait a couple days. Lesson: Read the directions on the label to enhance results.

I applied the image weed killer on bahia lawn filled bunch of different weeds. It kills only partially or maybe like 75% the product made my lawn around the sprayed areas go brown its been weeks they say its temporary but my lawn has not been recovering. I am scared to spray this again dont want my lawn going dead and not able to recover . Please help

Orlando st augustine yard (sand/loamy soil) - used the Image 2x within 60 days and did a decent job of the crabgrass (turned a dark blue before dying) and also some of the others. Im hoping my grass will eventually choke it all out. I do spot weed pull in between to maintain as well.

Image works great and is a lot less expensive than RoundUp. I counted 16 different types of weeds in my lawn including the dreaded.....dollarweed! Image killed them all.

That entire bottle of Image poured into a 4 gallon sprayer, treats 5000 sq ft. That's my entire front yard. That's convenient.
I spray to my side where I don't walk thru it, use blue marker, and with my pace it works out perfectly.

Can you broadcast spray my entire lawn with Image Southern Lawn? I am in Georgia and have St. Augustine mostly in my front yard and Bermuda and some St.Augustine in the back.

Hi Allyn, I live in Houston, Texas, and have St. Augustine grass. Can I use Image as the post-emergent and Prodiamine as the pre-emergent, both now on my grass? I already have all the weeds in my yard. I purchased the Image, but I wanted to know if I should only put that or go ahead and put the pre-emergent as well. Also, if you have a great fertilizer recommendation for St. Augustine in Texas. I had already scarififed my yard with Sunjoe, and I was shocked by how much dead grass and debris had come out of it.
