I don't understand why people stop to fight the ogres. If you die from pervasive darkness you literally spawn on top of where you died. You will need to respawn twice during the run which takes about 2 seconds total compared to fighting these ogres

This method is how I'm hoping to get the forbearance crafting recipe. If I do Rhulk for the first time and manage to get the 33% chance of getting the forbearance instead of the insidious or the glaive, then that will be literally the only drop that I can get out of this vow chest on the other two characters since those two have never done the raid, so they don't have armor drops they can get. In which case, I can just get this chest every week for however many weeks it takes to get 4 more red borders, all while only having beaten Rhulk once. Assuming I ever work up the courage to actually complete Rhulk for the first time at some point.

The D2 LFG community is toxic ASF thanks but no thanks .

I've tried LFG several times and in my experience the D2 LFG community is toxic ASF . I've been playing Destiny for 9 yrs and in D1 player's didn't mind teaching raid mechanics. But in D2 they act like if you don't know how to do it you are a burden . They forgot how someone taught them when they didn't know how to do it. So I haven't done a single raid in D2. But it is what it is. Great video. At least someone will benefit from it.

ok, so..

I've spent 50+ Recovered Leviathan engrams at the WarTable, 6 VOD chests, over 20 Last Wish chests, DSC, RoN, etc...

I dropped LITERALLY ZERO red-borders from ALL OF THEM (and yes, I still need a lot of patterns for all of the ones I've mentioned above.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Don’t even kill the ogres. Just go shout the crystals. You’ll die twice max and takes less than 5 min. Literally don’t kill anything in VOTD fir the first chest.

You don’t have to kill anything at the shelters while waiting for frostbite to dissipate.

Wait did you say that you need spoils to use the new harmonizers? That's only if you use it on raid weapons. I get that its a video about raid chests but just felt like pointing it out, i have seen people that just didn't understand how to use them.

Vault of glass has an easy chest

You only get weapons or armor if you beat the raid.. just for the new players that get all confused thinking they will get free raid weapons or armor

The mission similar to the beginning of the VOD raid was called Preservation...it was also my favorite way to get pinnacles

I did pike thing for sparrow and didnot get it, do you need to do it flawlessly (without losing 1 pike)? I know if you lose one you get it back at the begining. Great video 😁

@livemondo For the vow chest you don't actually have to kill the ogres. You can just kill the three darkness lanterns. If you do it fast enough you can do it in one death, and is faster than killing the ogres.

DSC raid weapons are my favourite, as a non raider having red borders is great 👍

You probably mentioned this in the video, but can you get loot from these chests without ever completing an encounter in the raids? I doubt I could solo any encounter to open up the loot table…

You can also get last wish weapons without needing to have done the raid before.
