Our German Shepherd 'Rusty' was the best. Our back yard was as woodsy as where you are, and it was his kingdom.

I love all animals but theres nothing better than a GSD. Lost 3 in a fire January of 2023 and havent been the same since!

Having a German Sheis fantastically rewarding to any family, despite the work/responsibility involved. Having 2, helps if you’ve got a couple of older children to help.
I was blessed with a Japanese Akita/German Shepherd and she was Pure Ambrosia- such joy, lots of laughs and the Akita part of her breed meant she was a big pussycat too.

A GSD inside? I keep and train GSDs for our police K-9 unit. Always outside in doghouse and large cage. I run miles everyday with them, climbing walls etc. I wouldn't have these pansy asses!

You must adoption another dog too for his friend, they can playing together, run and happy together, in the shelter still many abandoned dogs, they need save and happyness life

My two shepherds I had have now passed away ,I still can’t look or touch any of there pics,toys,or ashes,
One day I’ll get another one.
They are the best dogs in the world,what a companion ,the best joy I’ve ever had in my life.they are a part of your family and u feel the same loss as if it was your own .

Yeah .... looking at my girl. My fifth service GSD in 40 years ... yeah .... I can relate. They saved my life. I cannot imagine existing without my GSDs. My children will agree. My grandchildren will agree. And omg all of mine have loved water. God's gift to us.

Truly the best dogs, they MUST be part of the family, they need their pack and you’re it. If you put in the work and socialise these dogs properly (that doesn’t mean meeting other dogs) you’ll get a great companion.

I just got a 2 months old German Shepard 2 days ag. He’s a very good boy.

Misha resembles our German shephard we useded to own. He was a dog rescued from an animal shelter. When he died after a 6-year battle with cancer, we decided we had to save another German Shepherd. Now we have Fiona, a GS rescued from a chain and starvation, also adopted from an animal shelter. She's wonderful, but each German Shepherd has a different personality, so we're just starting to build our story. We still miss Dexter. Fiona helps us grieve.

If you own a gsd, you know its character . He/ she loves to talk, whimp, rub on you ( he/ she loves to touch),starr at you. It seems he/ she is your boss. Just love them so badly

It was beautiful watching her grow and enjoy her life to the fullest. I also had a Akita/German Shepherd she was beautiful and loving. I've been blessed with several breeds each unique and special. I currently have 5 dogs each dog has been the love of my life. Anna In Ohio
