Hi, my daughter is 7 years old, and i think she is having anxiety attacks she said that her tummy hurts her hands and gets cold she wants to heat things and worry that she eats she will be sick

Thank you for this. It gave me a better perspective and understanding. I also have anxiety but it has gotten SO much better after being diagnosed with ADHD and getting medicated. I spoke with my daughter's pediatrician and he suggested therapy and fish oil. I hope they can guide me . Thank you.

I had severe anxiety for as long as I can remember. Parents never did anything to help me. No guidance whatsoever. My dad even lost hours at work because of it. Still nothing. So, I ended up shutting up about everything and being an angry angry child. Everything internalized. Stuffed down. Would you ever guess I'm gen X?
Wish all this info was available decades ago. Better late than never.

What does it mean if you’re anxious to tell you parents that you feel anxious so you can get treated? Or even diagnosed?

I’m watching this because my son deals with fears and I want to help him but watching this reminds me of what an anxious child I was. The difference is I didn’t verbalize it to anyone.

My son has alot of anxiety he worries when he's away from me and he's afraid that if he touches someone by accident that he's going to turn into that person and it's always something and doesn't focus in school due to his constant worrying. He will be seeing the Dr soon to get ADHD medicine they just diagnosed him. Can his lack of focus just be do to anxiety? I don't want to put him on meds that he doesn't need

If a child have anxiety of going to school. There is a reason why as well. And only care about getting your kids to school is like saying to your kids that you dont care about their problems becuse they cant trust you.

I have a 4 years old girl… and she is scared off everything new around her. I was ok because when I explain to her and get familiar, the fear goes away… but now am into the Monsters Fears… she refuse to be alone and don’t want to go to her own room by herself and cry and ask for hugs all the time… I think it’s normal since this is her first Halloween party at daycare and after we talk or change the topic she is fine… but I really want to know the right way to help her going true all that… :(

I love all this tech info on anxiety but I always no matter the subject matter be it health or tech.... to think outside of the box.
So on that my theory on anxiety is.... What if as a human species we are starting to diverge?

I don’t know why.. but sometimes I forget about being sane, and I think bad things about the people I love.. Like, their gonna do something bad. I trust them all 100% except my uncle. So I don’t know why I feel like that. It’s hard to explain so sorry!
