Other than the literary lines and cool recall, the effects are pretty boring. Valir is a fire mage, so what should we expect? Fire-colored effects. Designers should have anticipated this decision and defied it to make the effects really interesting. Valir's collector skin is way better because of a fresh take on fire: purple fire. Imagine if his legend skin has a black skill effects, or anything than the expected reddish.
