Not sure if anyone else mentioned this in the comments, but on PS4, you can magnify your screen by pressing the PS logo button + square. Press that again to zoom out. You can do this at any time for any game on PS4.
ОтветитьYou can also zoom in while in the truck's cabin, to see more of the ground ahead of you.
ОтветитьIm just now getting into the game and your videos are the best Ive found. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat video series on SnowRunner. Subscribed!
ОтветитьAnybody realize this a russian game? The unnecessary grinding aside. Certain vehicles are stronger than others of the same class, american brand of vehicles has a softer body with less traction. And off-course the names of all the vehicles. But still enjoyable. Thank you
ОтветитьThese videos helped so much!
Ответитьhow to move camera inside of garage in PC, ASDW. took just 500+ hours to noticed it...and even then by accident
ОтветитьA lot of these tips are so simple and common sense, but I've never thought of them. Great tips for a great game. I bought a brand new gaming PC a few weeks ago and haven't tried Snowrunner on it yet, so while it installs I'm watching this video.
ОтветитьThank you. I just bought the game today, and I was going crazy with some things! But fortunately you explained very well👍💯
ОтветитьI'm thinking of getting into Snowrunner . Thanks for these tips dawg !!
ОтветитьWhy didn't I think to winch from the back? Duh. Thx
ОтветитьStraightforward to the point video with great tips!
ОтветитьNot sure if it was mentioned, but for selling vehicles you mentioned buying the truck for 30,000 then buying the gearbox for 3800. Then selling the truck for only 31900. This is missing the original gearbox that can be sold for 1900, making up that price difference.
So you don't need to sell all the equipment first if you sell the equipment later.
Running through the comments, I see it has been mentioned :)
Also crazy crane counterbalancing for tricky banked areas (looking at amur especially) even balancing with heavy cargo like oversized container.
Also if you expect a flip attach the winch to the trailer and not the truck and the winch will stay on and work even if the truck has stalled and flipped. You can't attach the winch anymore but the one deployed before the flip works (and no, i'm not talking about scouts auto winch).
Also on tricky banked areas very broned to flip, use a semi-trailer and keep it at an angle to the truck. It will act like a three legged stool. It just sits and not flip on crazy spots where any normal truck will flip.
Also on flip mechanics, give the twinsteer a go as a training vehicle. It will go anywhere, very fast, with 4loads of cargo trailerless AND it will very fast teach you the flip mechanics and teach you to read the terrain and what angle of approach to take to not flip. Once mastered the twinsteer is a monstermachine. And it will help a lot with gameplay in any other truck. I did lots of missions with the twinsteer due to trailerless and just recover whenever needed. But being craneless and trailerless is a big downside in hardmode. For harmode the paystarTS is the monster hauler (crane+3bed+4trailer plus a lot of additional cargo by manually oveloading both the truck and the ramped trailer on the space near the ramp. I did 16metal rolls in one go with this setup and in amur on the very difficult terrain)
Winching is more efective if the rope is longer. So if the short frint winch is struglling, attach on the back to make it longer.
Give the 8slot trailer a go whenever possible. With the kolob works good and it teaches you to read terrain longitudinally dipped or crested to avoid highcentering and pulling the trailer with the winch. The full winch mechanics will be speedly learnt on the first tricky turn with long 8slot trailer. (I use less and less since the azov7 many times can safely haul 8slots of cargo with the ramped flatbed trailer. Now paystar can easlily go 10slot hauling or even more.
And lastly the easy recovery of a huge mess (a flip with an oveloaded truck with scketcky shortcuts) is Alt+F4 before automatic save kicks in. This very good to time the save icon. You wait for the icon before doing the crazy stunt you have a few minutes to do the schetchy move and hope for the best and if not: quickly alt-f4.
I love the realism of needing to repair the fuel tank before refuelling – nice touch.
ОтветитьLástima que no tenga subtítulos, no entiendo apenas nada xD
ОтветитьDidn't know quite a few of these so thanks. Being able to shift time is great, driving at night is a pain in the ass lol
ОтветитьI just bought the game version of the deuce and a half and it's a beast. Sadly it is severely limited in terms of frame ad ons which is disappointing since it could easily be compatible with alot more ad ons
ОтветитьVery helpful thanks!

ОтветитьFound your channel recently when I picked up this game on the steam sale and you have been so helpful. Thank you
ОтветитьGreat list of tips, learned a lot
ОтветитьThanks for an absolutely brilliant video - this is BY FAR the best tips video for SR I've seen. I ended writing loads of it down so I can refer to it as I'm still new to the game.
Can I ask you (or anyone else) a few Q's to help me proceed?
1. When a task has two parts but no cargo involved can I do part one, recover the vehicle to the garage then do part two and recover again or else just use two vehicles to complete it then recover them both? Specifically I'm talking about King of the Hill in Michigan - can I do North Peak then recover the vehicle then do South Peak or does that wipe the task progress out? Or can I use a different vehicle for each peak and then recover both from the top of each peak when the task is complete? I just keep rolling and stalling my vehicles (with no winch points available) coming down South Peak - I've had so many goes it it's driving me crazy!
2. For getting the drilling parts for the Missing Machinery task what truck, crane and bed do I need? i have the Paystar 5070 with the 46' ATHS1 tyres, LC 3.8 Loading Crane & Sideboard bed but I can't get near the drilling parts - I don't know what vehicle or specs i need and how to recover the drilling parts.
3. For the Paystar 5070 I still get stuck in the mud a lot - what tyres do you need for that to be as good as everyone says it is? I'm up to rank 4 but I still can't upgrade the tyres from the 46' ATHS1 and it's making for a very frustrating experience so far as I just can't get any of the difficult tasks or contracts done. For example all the deep water and mud on the road going right from the garage in Michigan - I just get stuck there even in low gear and there do not seem to be any winch points so I keep having to recover.
4. I have the Scout 800 with the big roofrack containing loads of extra petrol but I can use this to refuel an empty vehicle or can I only do that by towing a fuel trailer? In other words are the repair kits and extra petrol only for the vehicle you fir them to?
I hope you don't mind advising if you can - it's stuff I've googled but just not found answers to so looking for expert help!
And please keep up the great work on the vids - you deserve way more subs!
👍🏻
ОтветитьNot sure if it's mentioned, but what is the red truck he's driving at the beginning of the video?
ОтветитьJust purchased the game!! Great tips. Thank you. 👍🏻
ОтветитьThanks for the tips!
ОтветитьCodex wersion😉
ОтветитьAnother helpful tip is to always makes sure the cargo you are hauling is packed/loaded into your truck or trailer. This is definitely an issue for players who like to manually load the cargo onto their trucks themselves. Once you have your cargo on the truck or trailer, make sure you go to the cargo settings and make sure it is packed/loaded. This will lock the cargo down into the truck or trailer and prevent it from shifting all over the place during travel. Also, if your cargo isn't packed into the trailer, then when you get to the delivery location, the game will act like you don't have the cargo with you. In that moment, back up out of the delivery point, make sure the cargo is actually loaded in the truck or trailer, then re-enter the delivery spot. Note that if you have a lot of close calls when traveling that make your truck or trailer almost tip over, there is a chance it will make your cargo become unpacked/unloaded...even if it doesn't spill out. If that happens, just go back into the cargo settings and reload it back into the truck or trailer you are using.
I have seen some reviewers actually give the game bad reviews and go as far as say the game is bugged or broken because they didn't make sure their cargo was properly loaded in their truck/trailer. This meant when they got to their destination, the game didn't act like they had the cargo at all. So, they assumed the game was bugged and tried it again only for their cargo to become unloaded with their careless and sloppy driving. This again made it so when they got to the destination, they couldn't deliver the cargo because to the game, it wasn't "in the trailer". They also broke one of their trailers because they didn't make sure their cargo was loaded properly, then recalled their truck to refuel. When they went back to the trailer, they found that the cargo had clipped through the trailer during the map refresh and fused the cargo half way through the trailer making it unable to be moved. In the end, they said that the game was riddled with bugs because they simply didn't make sure their cargo was properly loaded in their trailers.
Thank you so much 😊
Ответитьthank you, i see some tips which didnt mentioned by some others
ОтветитьPlayed for a few months and still learned somethings!
ОтветитьHeres another attention to detail, the speedometer actually works in the cab in first person mode. Along with the other gauges like fuel!
ОтветитьSuper helpful 👍
ОтветитьOne tip, I use wery often, when I need a lot of slots to cary. I use flatbed semi trailer (5 slots) on truck and attach with winch ramped flatbed trailer (4 slots). Then in one run I can carry 9 slots
ОтветитьHey, thank you very much. The most compressed list of tips i found so war. Thanks for the afford.
ОтветитьTips that are so USEFUL..
ОтветитьVery good tips. I knew about 28 of them but the one about tapping the gas to turn tighter is one that I didn’t know and very helpful. The other was for the switch that doesn’t apply to me but is cool non the less.
