When using autofill hold the shift key and it changes the pattern from identical to sequential

tips:
by holding ctrl + shift + arrow keys you can select a range of cells
for exemple: you can select the first cell of the cell range and hold ctrl + shift + ➡ to select the first row and then ctrl + shift + ⬇to select the rest of the range

Also for the 3D reference, we can select the range where we want to get the calculated numbers, go to data tab - consolidate - and select "sum" if you want the numbers added, then select the range from each worksheet and click "add" each time. If I'm not mistaken, it works even if the ranges are on different workbooks

I have 2 questions tho... 1) In segment 15 you turned off the function. Despite the fact I have viewed it multiple times, I don't see nor hear how you did that so quickly. I guess I am just unable to catch it for some reason. I have to go back to the dialog box and manually uncheck the option. I am grateful that you included this section because I have never known it to exist, but have been often frustrated in needing it.

And... 2) Do you have any advanced knowledge of Microsoft's intentions of bringing another version of Excel into the market? And what changes might be forthcoming? It seems that it takes me so long to fully understand the current version, they upgrade it so, there I go starting all over again. (ie: this version is now 6 years old and I am still learning how to use it!)

I am not entirely new to the spreadsheet concept as I have used spreadsheets for years - starting with Commodore 128 and Lotus 1-2-3 (Which by-the-way, I still have and use the old comma 8 - comma 1!). I took a full course of COBOL programming in college. (Yes I am old - haha) But still I find myself stumped in some processes's.

I'm using ~700 lines per page in Excel but sometimes when i copy paste whole collumns, 200k lines appear and it starts lagging a lot. How can i stop new lines from generating?

How would you autofill consecutive dates if you have a row/divider that needs to be blank showing a separation of weeks? So Monday- Sunday blue bar then it starts right back to Monday after the blue bar or row.
