ОтветитьBlimps were used worldwide in past civilizations. Until corporations figured out anyone can build one and they could make money selling gasoline and diesel.
ОтветитьYou never explained how blimps return to the earth if they are filled with helium. You can't just release the helium, that would be too expensive and wasteful

ОтветитьFree energy... so after 1 crash that's ? And all the multiple plane crashes and high gas and oil use we still use them
ОтветитьBut how much winds speed it can resist ?

ОтветитьThere's no such thing as a rigid blimp. All blimps are nonrigid. Blimp is the term for a nonrigid airship. There are also rigid and semirigid airships. Blimps are a type of airship but all blimps are nonrigid.
Ответитьnever have I heard french names be so destroyed lmao. Nice content through, very instructive
ОтветитьOk, that's a fine history lesson but it does NOT explain HOW airships work. Such as how they manage to land even though they are full of lighter than air gas. And how they manage to rise with literally tons of cargo and structure weight even though minutes earlier they were on the ground.
ОтветитьGreat video! There is a third type of airship. The keel airship. They were common is
the early days of airships. We use that configuration in the Tandem and
Ascender high altitude airships.
1.Why are blimps considered more efficient for hovering and float than helicopters?
Blimps are considered to be more efficient for hovering and float than helicopters because it takes them almost no energy to hover or float in place and can stay afloat for days.
2.What was the main feature of Zeppelin?
The main feature of Zeppelin was that it was the first rigid airship.
3.What is the main task for the pilot of a blimp when hovering?
The main task for the pilot of a blimp when hovering and floating is to concern himself with steadying the craft in weather conditions as well as directional movement in flightpath.
4.What is the rudders’ and elevators’ function during the flight of the blimp?
Rudders and elevators are used for direction control of the blimp.
5. What airship started a new era of non-rigid airships?
The first self-propelled 143feet long blimp with a 3 horse power steam propeller started a new era of non-rigid airships.
6.What are the advantages of blimps?
Blimps can hover like helicopters, travel in extreme temperature and stay afloat for days.
this is interesting
