I dunno about this new generation of "hot rodders". It would have been cheaper and easier just to duct tape a pop can to the tailpipe like I've seen on those ricer videos.

Hacking up the factory pipe on a 2 year old car and filling it with putty, LOL! A quality pair of mufflers from borla would have given the Taurus a nice exhaust note out of the tailpipe where it belongs.

Added an electronic cutout right off the cat on a 92 Taurus SHO a number of years back. Allowed the Yamaha V6 to scream like a banshee. Definitely worth it.

Bro...you put this on the wrong Taurus...should have at least made it the SHO... make a bad name for us other taurus owners. (I would never do this on a normal v6)

We did this in the late '50's after installing Laker pipes. The opening was by a cable.

You'll probably have them come back after 6 months complaining about it falling apart, those things basically rattle themselves to pieces, get a traditional mechanical one, won't ever do you wrong and feels way cooler opening it up.
