I have one mi note 3 and it 's very very good. You should install Miui Pro 8.2.1 rom, it fix camera very better in Night Camera Auto, clear the Noise in picture.

Strange enough the note 3 has GG 4. Don't know why yours had hairline scratches (could have been some sand in your pocket which is hard enough to leave scratches)
