Why I love exploring mountain villages of Vietnam | Pu Luong

I took a weekend motorcycle trip into the Northern Mountains of Vietnam to explore Pù Luông - an incredible area tucked away in a Mountain Valley a few hours from Hanoi.

This area is not as developed as other touristy areas of Vietnam. The local people are super happy to interact with visitors. I was able to share lunch and drink rice wine with some locals from the "Thai" ethnic group. There are rice terraces and waterfalls to explore. My favorite trips are in the Northern Mountains of Vietnam...
