It took me about 30-40 times maybe more on no mercy, I went crazy but finally beat it because we’ve forgiven her but I just wanted to head off her

Seriously though, the programmers were assholes for this fight. Hit block? Nope. Dodge? Nope. Parry? Nope. But don't worry, she can do whatever she wants and use unblockable attacks nonstop along with full room aoe whenever.... oh, and don't worry, we won't throw in any heals either.

Double L1 is key. Won the fight immediately after watching the video. Where il lost the previous 11 times .

Like i figure most of her moves the problem is timing you have to be quick with her damn attacks and it's fucking annoying when you're a slow minded

Even elden ring hardness is justified, god of war 2 is a big POS

This is the worst boss battle in this game and I haven’t even finished but it’s there only boss that’s made me break my controller

Being stuck in the party animation for the second throw attack and being totally unable to block it sometimes is ridiculous. Just bad mechanics.

I just don't find this kind of ridiculous hard battle fun at all, had I known this is the sort of game play i'd never have started the game.

It’s easier if you roll under the sword 🗡 throws then to block it,if try to block it you have to time it perfectly 😂

i beaten this boss but it took me a while, i used the stone wall shield and the ax.

I hate these light and dark elves.

There we are, two gods, getting our ass handed to us by some librarian. I think I made a mistake by going there too early in the game. She's wiping the floor with me. I like a challenge (I mean, I finished Lies of P NG+++ before GOW Ragnarok), but this just feels wrong.

UPDATE: Beat her. She really has but 4 moves.
1. Huge blueringed AOE, which becomes easy to counter with a bit of practice (stay close as much as you can).
2. Yellow ringed sword-throw, the nastiest, because one hit means stunlocked, but it can be both sidestepped and parried (my tactic: sidestep the first, then parry second and third).
3. Red ringed ranged, the easiest: just sidestep. Very forgiving.
4. Swordcombo ending with a red ringed AOE. Once she kneels at the start, dodgeroll to the side and avoid all hits (blocking can work, but one hit means stunlocked). Side/backstep the last red AOE.
Freya's poison attack is great to create a breather. Beyond that just go ape on her and blow every cooldown. Use Blades as main weapon (unless you have spear perhaps? which I don't).

In the end, fun fight, except for the stunlocking with every combomove, that was just cheap.

She keeps healing on when on low hp! Why?

You're not explaining how to keep her from regenerating her health you got to show it not just say it

ez boss bruhh

After three attempts I finally realized that you can’t let her have any space. Get up close and don’t let her get away from you. It’s impossible to block her blue ring attacks when you’re not up close.

level 3 chaos blades and i beat it here’s what i did wrong
•when she does the red attack after her rush dash out of the way as soon as possible
•during the yellow throwing attacks wait about half a second to parry
•stay as close as possible to break her blue attack
•most importantly remember to hit her with a combo everytime you parry or dodge

I turned the difficulty down and still had to replay this fight 6 or 7 times. The problem I fixed was that you have to be close enough to her when she does the double-ring attack to actually block it. From across the room, even doing the block timing right, you will take damage because you are not close enough for your counter to work. Also, I learned to (try to) get away when she does that melee combo with the unblockable hard finish. One of the toughest fights for me so far, so thanks for the vid tips.

This boss can’t be beat I can’t even get a hit in. This game has such good hype about it and it’s trash I’ve been playing this for a year and this is far as I got. I feel like I wasted a lot of my time this is far as I go I’m done with this. This game ain’t even fun it’s nothing but stress

I m trying from last 2 days and still can't beat this witch ...litteraly i m abusing whom designed this witch ...i can handle every attack of her except blue one ..not enough time to tackle that blue attack ...

First boss that made me struggle in gow… luckily i just beat black myth wukong so i beat this one third try.😛

That double tapping L1 was the ultimate tip. I couldn't kill it as she was constantly healing herself.
