Logitech G Hub Resets DPI After Mouse Wakes Up FIX!!

To follow up on this, after you set the onboard DPI, save that to the mouse, you can switch back to using the normal profile mode. It will use the DPI from Slot 1 as the default so even when it does kick in after being asleep few seconds later there is no difference. This way the auto profile detection for all your games still works!

my ghub looks way different than this, it doesnt have the setting icon on top right after i click the memory mode. i only greeted with 5 slot of profile, but i cant even see my profile nor set dpi. my gpx 2 stuck on 800hz on memory mode.

I love my superlight, HATE THIS SOFTWARE

Coming from a Zowie EC-2 that served me flawlessly for 7 years, I finally decided to switch because the buttons started to wear out a bit and because wireless mouse are finally mature so I got myself a G Pro Superlight X for Black Friday... mouse seems nice, but goddamn the software is just so awful.
One of my favourite things about the Zowie was the lack of software of any kind, you just plugged it in and it worked, no installation required of any kind.
The G Pro on the other end has already reset 3 times, and the UI of the software makes no sense at all, like for example how you can't change the memory slot options when you're in memory mode, like... WTF you can clearly talk to the mouse, why won't you let me edit the profile, why do I have to switch back to direct mode, change edit the profile, copy it to memory and then switch back to memory mode, it's just nonsense. Oh, and it doesn't work, I had it reset the DPI setting 3 times already after the mouse went to sleep, it's so annoying.

What the hell? That way you literally disable most of the mouse functions and dynamic game profiles.

Fix for my issue: I just needed to load the profile again onto the onboard memory of the mouse, to whatever slot I want it as. I need to load/select the profile onto the onboard memory each time I change the DPI. This will probably work if this happens to the keybinds as well as this issue happened with keybinds but I just reinstalled the app and remade the profile to accomplish the same thing that loading the profile into the slot on to the onboard memory would do.

My issue is different, when I change the DPI in the profile and then change to onboard profiles the DPI will change to the first DPI I had ever set that profile to. And this profile that I updated the DPI on is the onboard profile. I set up a profile, change the DPI from 800 to 550 and use that as the on board profile. I realize it's too high so I change the DPI in the profile to 450 and then go to onboard memory. And then it's at 550 again. I turned on persistent profile and it still does this. Even with persistent DPI set to on with this profile it is still at 550. It won't let me change it to 450 DPI. Also mine is a wired mouse. It's the G502 Hero mouse. So if I want the DPI I actually want then I have to run the software with onboard profile/memory off.

G703 Still does the DPI change with on-board mem off. Spent 20 minutes with Logitech live help. Was able to fix for awhile. Now its back top reverting DPI.

This is my last Logitech mouse, and I've been simping for Logitech for 20 years.

With my Roccat Kone Pro im around 3.3k dpi .
I do not know how people plays with 600 tbh 😅

I'm screwed because the Superlight doesn't have onboard storage.

The problem is when you have it on onbord memory it dosent auto swap to ur mouse keybinds if you open a game or tab out it stays on slot 1 or 2 what you chose to be ur default desktop mouse keybinds

shit is buggy asf, only thing that worked was deleting all other dpi options, thanks a lot

how do u delete the other dpi options?

its just a shit product! So often the mouse goes into "sleep" after seconds and when it wakes up it has a lower dpi. Cost me so many chess matches, cause the mouse wouldnt make the full motion that I used to do with the amount of effort. Disgusting!

Logitech has made some changes to the GUI or UI. You may want to update this video to keep it relevent. In passing, great job!!! I thought to try so manyother things first but this should have been my first stop. It did fix the issue described and an issue with a game that made the mouse move like pond water. 🤣

im using logictech 502 hero wireless. i tried charging the dpi...before i put on on board memory. but it made my dpi super low and i ended up having to turn off the on board memory

Yo bro can you help me, my dpi in game is crazy but I’m windows it is fine. I never got this problem but my in game can be 1.2 and 800 dpi it will feel like 1800 dpi please help bro😭
