They stopped giving reasons for why an application was denied. I applied for a server with >10,000 members, statistics well-above the minimum requirements, and 24/7 moderation, but still got denied after waiting nearly two and a half months. I'm almost sure they aren't even reading applications anymore, because I received the obviously pre-written notice from a noreply email address with no option to contact them. :(

The only comment I have regarding achieving Partner with your Server. They have made it a bit more difficult with the New Onboarding that has to be setup before applying for Partner. It requires that you have 5-7 Channels on your server that are not role gated. It can be quite annoying especially with most of the Servers I build and work with have the main req. that 99% of Channels are role-locked.

tbh I don't agree that non-toxic servers are boring, like you're saying that banter and those things are what makes it fun. that's not true I actually find toxic servers very annoying and I just avoid it completely. there are a lot of non-toxic servers with high activity and it's fun. but the whole video is very nice I liked it

There are a few partnered servers out there which are filled with toxic and almost racist mods and owners... So... The bias must be hardcore.

I was on the discord server of one streamer when it got partnered, it became insanely boring with very strict rules right away, a lot of people just left it, you couldn't swear at all, couldn't even talk about religion or politics

The pokemon go example is a perfect one. I've been on several servers for pokemon go and a LOT of them are partnered because of the leverage those servers have towards getting Partner with "we're building a community" yada yada.

Frankly most servers wouldn't qualify anyway, mine certainly wouldn't. Mine is a server mainly for friends only, but we also have others in it, but the main deal is that we freely talk about anything under the son and are not afraid to "offend" people. After all, it's a server full of adults, and as adults you have to learn to be able to take and receive, if you get offended over a joke then you certainly won't last very long in the real world.

Of course, another reason we won't be partnered is because we are also critical of some of what discord has done; their incompetence for example when it comes to making actually REQUESTED features. Not to mention, discord has a heavy bias when it comes to their support of certain subjects. An example being how they favor furries and artwork related to them, but are scornful of loli artwork (using the bogus claim that it "supports child you know what" when in reality it doesn't, as it is harmless)

Regardless, I would never want to be a partner anyway; my server favors freedom of speech, discords partnership program doesn't.
