The new builds circ. 2018 are rather small in HK. The layout is kinda fixed due to the services within the unit and block. Godd design despite the compact space. 🎉
Ответитьlove the desk over the couch, any idea where to find it online?
ОтветитьYes!! Hong Kong apartments are small but often very innovative and multifunctional. The location of their apartment is so convenient I think it’s perfect for a young couple like them. It’s busy outside but in their home it is modern and calming. It feels like a cozy home 🫶🏼
ОтветитьLittle john have to see this video
ОтветитьWhy would you put to much storage. How many stuff do you own.
ОтветитьMy favourite is the bathroom. It’s all anyone would ever need.
ОтветитьI can't imagine waking up everyday with those huge skyscrapers and big tall buildings around me. I'd feel claustrophobic . I've never ever been in a place like that
ОтветитьWell done for squeezing two separate fully functioning rooms in just 24 sqm
ОтветитьYou call this micro?? I live with 4 other people on 18sqm and we still have pull put tables when we have guests over.
Ответить🤭Wow this couple lookin like highschool but im guessing that their probably in their early 30s.... Asian 🧬 genes are superb 💁
ОтветитьWhat an ugly city
Ответитьum….
ОтветитьHong Kong people know how to live small and the interior designers are usually magicians making tiny space look spacious.
ОтветитьWhat was their daily life again????
ОтветитьAn apartment located in the mega constrained Hong Kong and designed by two interior designers? Lots to learn from. I love the simple minimalistic design. Also loved that they made use of existing cabinets and fixtures to reduce wastage. Quite often you'll see designers removing existing cabinets and stuffs so I really appreciate their mindset. Good job to the owners and Never Too Small crew for this wonderful episode!
ОтветитьI'm sorry but it's claustophobic for me with all fornitures..
Ответитьgalvanized steel, borrow bolt from aunt and eco friendly wood
ОтветитьI'd say Hong Kong and Japan design the real small apartment.
ОтветитьThis looks amazing! I'm just wondering: how do they access the back of the ceiling storage?
Ответитьthis is the first apartment of which I would say it is too small. But it is good to see that the space is showing some of the normal clutter you would have simply living in a space. Many of the other videos show a neatly cleaned room.
ОтветитьVery usable for such a small space!
ОтветитьWould love to discover more of the designs in other Chinese cities too. I had a workshop on urban planning in Shenzhen, Macau and Shanghai and it was fascinating to see how creative some of the designs were incorporating feng shui, minimalism yet warmth altogether.
ОтветитьCongratulation to the designer and owner .
Truly well thought, LOVE it.
Very nice
Ответитьdefinitely used galvanized steel
ОтветитьI liked the house and very well they have used space to create storage
ОтветитьSuch smart space-saving solutions. I also love seeing interior designers featured alongside architects on this channel, more please!
Ответитьlove how you have given storage the necessary importance. It is strange in this world where minimalism is almost a religion. Congratulations
ОтветитьLove the idea of combing three armless chairs to make a sofa! Also allows the flexibility for single seating configuration as and when needed [like when you have a guest/talking to each other].
ОтветитьDo the builders of these new buildings with small apartments give you well insulated walls all around them?
Ответитьgreat video!
ОтветитьBravo on the storage solutions! Impressive to have a full height fridge too in a space of 28 square metres.
I'm glad that you have a shelf for decorative sentimental items to make the space homely for you.
The balcony also adds greater perceived space despite it being very small.
❤so schön und warmes Holz ☘️🪴🌞
ОтветитьVery well done!
Ответить👍🏿Very efficient apartment.👍🏿
ОтветитьAs a HK guy, IMO the main issue the interior desgin from HK always focus on storage. So end up cabinets everywhere, make the space even more depressed surrounded by all these wooden boxes. The very popular platform storage in bedroom even make it worse. Another thing is this designer decided to keep some of the existing wooden fixture like the door or the floor that totally not matching their walnut theme. This make the space feel too busy will all these different pattern and color of wood element. Is good to see the designer try to fully untilize the space but come on, for me I really don't want to eat just next to a shoe cabinet 😅
Ответитьmy hallway is really small, I would love a shoe cabinet just like theirs
ОтветитьI appreciate that they worked with the existing kitchen and layout (which was good anyways). I know they have tall ceilings, but it definitely doesn't feel like 24 sqm.
The one fixed element I would change is the bedroom door: I think a pocket door (like the bathroom one) would help create less visual clutter. I also don't like the couch and I would prefer something more comfortable. I also wonder why they didn't go for a loft bed.
Great use of space, both practical and aesthetically pleasing 🙂
Ответитьsuper small but cool. needs more plants though.
ОтветитьFantastic!!! Brilliant usage of space in this tiny apartment while still looking stylish and calm. This is definitely amongst my top 3 on this channel. Well done!!!
ОтветитьPure genious! Elegant genious.
Ответитьso well done! using the height of the space really makes a difference.
ОтветитьI love that they made the best of what they had
Ответить🤔 I’m sure that the shelf above the shoe cabinet is wonky.
Otherwise, love the bespoke walnut cabinetry.
shoe cabinet then kitchen?? shoes are dirty
ОтветитьAcho esse tom de madeira tão aconchegante. Os espaços parecem bem maiores do que realmente são. Eu amo designer inteligentes. Que casa maravilhosa <3
