That’s a good idea getting ahold of an organization to help pay for a HH wig. I’ve been trying to get my insurance to take me seriously but it’s hard when my alopecia is mainly on my body hair and only a few small patches on my head 😭😭😭 and I’m literally too scared to try the steroid injections 😭😭

My cousin had the same problem as you. I actually think I love the look of women with lack of hair. They always seem to be the kindest loving people I've ever known.

I definitely know how she feels. I have lupus when I first got diagnosed. They treated it with chemo I also lost my hair 3 times had to wear wigs but I'm African American so my hair has grown back but I still wear wigs. But some reason I feel like it's gonna fall out again. I hate that she has to go through the hate. When people are not walking around with your condition, they don't understand what hate can do to your condition.

salons or businesses like there are HUGE SCAMS !
there are SO MANY hair businesses on instagram that sell THE BEST hair for EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE prices.

it's always the white culture hair salons that make wigs SO EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.
in black culture women were the best looking wigs ever and they're affordable.
i learned everything from watching them doing it.

JESUS CHRIST, that wig over 2000 dollars doesn't even look natural.......

also the very best synthetic lace front wigs only cost 80 or 90 dollars.

Girl, i make my own 13x6 lace front human hair wigs and even with 26'' of hair it doesn't even cost over 400 dollars.
now ofcourse when they're already made it costs more but, in the thousands... ?????

wait a minute... a wig that costs 10.000 dollars ???

there's no need for any wig to cost over ONE thousand dollars...

What really makes me mad is people who claim they have alopecia when they don't like Will Smiths wife and clearly you can see here 5 o clock shadow of her hair- line and she definitely Doesn't have alopecia.
My BFF my whole life has alopecia her since elementary school and really got noticeable in middle school and that was the late 70s and back then you didn't hear about alopecia. Will Smiths wife is a 🤥 liar

I have very thin here left over from chemo and a bone marrow transplant and I’m trying to work up the courage to just shave it all off and I need some motivation to be happy with who I am hair or no hair but I do wear wigs, but it would be better if I was totally bald
