I think all africans countries are great but some of them are still under colonization especially in the north some of these countries are under Islamic and Arabic colonialism, for example Egypt algeria morroco and tunisia.

The Global Organized Crime Index 2023 revealed that South Africa is one of the worst countries in the world regarding organised crime.

The index showed that organised crime is rising globally, with 83% of the world’s population living in conditions of high criminality.

South Africa has performed particularly poorly, with both criminality and resilience scores worsening over the past year.

South Africans now experience worse criminal activity than countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon.

Mad Namibia ain't on this list. I just came from there and it's pretty safe. Cost of living is moderate, infrastructure is good, access to healthcare is widespread, 4g is everywhere even in more remote areas of the country, you can also drink water from the tap. Though getting a job isn't easy as Namibians are given priority.

I think South Africa is the best country overall in terms infrastructure, health care, business opportunities. Crime might be common in big cities like Cape Town and Johannesburg (drugs and poverty are big drivers). Lastly, politically stable but major improvement is needed in service delivery because South Africa has most unique unequal wealth division (Rich keeps getting richer while the poor keeps on getting poor). I will definitely love to visit Seychelles 😂

Greetings from Botswana. I would agree with most of the countries on the list. But not South Africa. Crime rates are horrific and income inequality is one of the worst in the world. Better off residents have sophisticated security systems and really live in prisons. Gauteng Province is called, with good reason, Gangsters Paradise. I know people who left UK to live in SA but due to crime rates, packed up their bags and returned to the UK. Corruption is on the rise and load shedding affects everyone for several hours a day and has damaged many businesses. Kenya has serious crime in Nairobi, its not known as Nairobbery for nothing. In Tanzania, you will need a good knowledge of Swahili. Morocco and Tunisia are great places but you need to accept the Islamic culture.

KENYA is the best of all

You kind of skipped over the more obvious positives of South Africa and I would have replaced one of the other countries with Namibia. South Africa, Botswana and Namibia have the best infrastructure on the continent. I don’t think, for instance, you can safely drink the water from your faucet outside of those countries.

Regarding crime I think SA is punished for accurately and honestly tracking crime rates. I don’t know if I’d trust most of the other countries. Also I think many of these countries it depends on who you are and what you can and can’t handle. Mauritius and the Seychelles are great if you have that kind of money but if you don’t you are better off looking elsewhere.
