I had this theory for a long time that both men and women used to cover their faces (back in the pre-Islamic era) with the head scarves because of the heat of the desert sun before the Islam clerics made it compulsory. I stuck with that theory for the longest time because it made a lot of sense.....but then again, I didn’t know that there were actual quotes in the Quran that enforce this. Muslim apologists often say that the Quran doesn’t make it compulsory for women to cover their faces. So I didn’t know what to believe and came up with this theory. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately, a lot of Western feminists are highly uninformed or misinformed about the hijab and buy into the Muslim narrative of how it's so empowering for women. LOL

What I see in the Netherlands(a western country) is that many young Muslim women who wear hijab look like prostitués wearing lots of makeup. It actually highlights the lips and eyes, the things which makes one attractive In the eyes of a man. So they actually seem like sluts who cover their hair to seem modest. And I know from experience that many who wear hijab are sexually immoral according to Koran. Having sex and drinking alcohol etc. Yet they look like modest and holy women when you see such a women outside

You would've known that it is haram (prohibited) for someone to force a Muslim to wear the hijab. it is only preferred once they reach the age of puberty. Both of my close Muslim friends gave already had their first mensuration a long time ago, yet they are not wearing hijab because it is only preferred. Other than prolly fabricated Hadith (fake hadith if you're stupid) there is not 1 place in the authentic narration, nor the Quran that forces women to wear the hijab. I'm a hijabi myself, I started wearing the hijab at the start of Ramadan this year and I love wearing it my parents nor relatives never told me to, I just decided on my own. So please, unless you don't wanna be stupid, please don't listen to people who are anti Islam, you should listen to Muslim speakers like Omar Sulieman, Mufti Menk, Zakir Naik and others who actually studied for years on topics like this and unlike him, who was Muslim for a messily 4 years, listen to people who were born into Muslim families or countries or really learned converts/reverts who are actually Muslim and know so much more than him. A childhood friend of mine was forced to wear hijab by her parents. And not like normal hijabs, the pure black ones. It's really sad, because I know she was an open minded girl - she didn't talk about religion at all. Knowing that I won't be able to contact her because of a stupid idea that makes women literal slaves really makes me sick. And she will have no life, probably is going to get sold or forced to marry a sick minded man and will live her life obeying 3 men, this is a very real issue and should not be tolerated. Women who think wearing hijab is a choice don't know how women in Islamic societies are brainwashed and are basically raised to think that all men want to rape them and they should cover themselves because they cannot protect themselves.
