A bronze tier item blocking you from getting a better version of that item is probably the worst part of the game right now. I can't even count the number of runs where the game has shoehorned me into a specific build but refused to give me upgrades for integral parts of the build.

To be fair, if you weren't straight memeing and kept the figurehead for +100 damage on all your weapons. It might have been at least marginally less awful. Also horrible No Pain No Gain luck didn't help. On the other hand...Shiny Katana and amazing skills.

What’s the significance of item order on the board when for example there’s no synergy between a slow item and the item(s) next to it? If the slow item is on the left side or the right side of the board does it make a difference? I’m not sure if I’m missing something.
