Why cant the FAs show some common sense and let the baby vomit in the bathroom, albeit with a child seat belt and one for the mom. The world will not end with a slight adjustment. This sticking to rules even though stupid is the single most bad trait I saw in most, if not all americans. Sometimes common sense and practicality should prevail. I know, I went through a similar absurdity on my first flight to usa on panam.

This is why they have been those bags in the seat pocket. Mom did better by her child by opening up bag and rubbing their bag and saying to spit up in the bag. Far easier for her to clean up too

None of us were there & we dont know for sure what happened. I tell ya, neither do I BUT my child has been taught to run to the bathroom if she has to vomit. So if thats what happened & her child was trying to do that & the flight attendant was trying to force her to stay seated. The child possibly just ran & being sick didnt understand & then may have tried to usher the kid back to the seat or keep them from getting to the bathroom. I mean, we dont know for sure but then, IF the Mom was trying to intercede & was met with more resistance or simply upset about her child being blocked etc & she already was stressed about the child being sick & traveling with a sick child is never fun anyway. I mean, maybe we shld not jump to conclusions but have a bit of compassion for them all!
