very good information sir
ОтветитьAre you gone plant potatos?
Ответить🎉🎉Thanks brother!! 🎉🎉
Ответитьironic title considering he is wasting 50% of his loading time. scoop from the top and then work down. he is wasting time pulling dirt up through dirt
Ответитьtoo concerned about comments... lacking self-confidence?
Ответить# 1 thing is, Know what your trying to achieve. Ie; start with the end in mind.
Then there's, fill the bucket, don't needlessly pull full buckets through the dirt, if its full disengage from the face and begin to lift/slew towards the dump point.
Etc etc
One good thing to do is, ALWAYS know exactly where your next bucket is going to come from.
There's a trick to getting back to the engagement point at the dig face again but it's another story for another day.
And don't top out the hydraulic cylinder rod and ffs, don't dig or jack machine with any rod on its stop... That is #1 rookie tell tale. As well as leaving a full bucket of material ip in the air with the revs not at high.
And best Tip for anyone trying to improve proficiency....
DONT TRY AND BE 'FASTER'
Just keep an eye on the bucket and always try and be perfectly smooth and precise with all your movements. (Which comes from precise lever inputs and timing, which develops subconsciously in time if you just watch the bucket....)
Once all your movements are smooth and precise, and you are able to mentally stay a step ahead of yourself, guess what.....
You NATURALLY and 'effortlessly' become much faster.
*NEVER try to be fast. Always try be smooth and precise, speed will come naturally.
hey bro, if you will be a more efective operator, use bigger bucket for this job...sorry for bad language
ОтветитьAll very good points!!!
ОтветитьLove from India keep it up ❤❤
ОтветитьDon’t crowd yourself bro! 😂 J/K great videos keep’m coming bro
ОтветитьThis is great content man.
I actually learned a lot of this on a dragline, by making those rookie mistakes and having the real operators correct me 😂
Same thing though, booming too high, having the drag cable pulled in to much so the bucket was “curled” up too much, then when when I released the drag brake the bucket slammed instead of realeasing it easily, then coming back over the canal with the bucket too high…..all of it, all the mistakes and still learning 😂
Same principle here.
Everything you’re explaining is right on the money.
Being efficient with your time is key.
Thanks for what you guys do.
I've opperated a bell2045 40 ton excavator which one would you say is easier to opperated a smaller excavator or a big one ? Just asking for info
ОтветитьLol I been running iron for most of my life and all over the country and one thing in common is every operator thinks they're better then the next lol everyone has something to say about the other. I could care less , just go to work lol
ОтветитьWhat an useful and informative video. Thanks.
ОтветитьSince you're dumping to the left, start left work your way to the right, that way you can swing and lift at the same time and that material isn't in your way,
ОтветитьYou should do a video on digger stability. Loading over the side of the tracks etc and how the centre of gravity changes boom out over tracks etc. cheers 🤙🏼
ОтветитьWicked 👌🤙
ОтветитьIn the competetive tree care industry there's this saying "Slow is smooth and smooth is fast". Would you say that concentrating on being smooth is the way to be efficient or is it not the case when it comes to loading dirt in an excavator?
ОтветитьAloha braddah as a beginner I'm learning alot just watching your videos you can be ausum instructor From Maui ALOHA
ОтветитьI can use some advice
When I dig a square, how do you square down the side that’s closest to you without moving your position
I'm a paramedic of 20 years. I run smaller equipment, mini-ex, skid steers, tractors on the side. I am looking possibly at a career change and wanted to know how you go about becoming a full time operator with limited experience?
ОтветитьThanks mate. Awesome!
ОтветитьThe best way to be efficient is to not run a case
Ответитьget your grubby branches off the old man rawrrrrrr
ОтветитьI call bullshit on the jerky shit! Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.👍🏼 By the way, ever stand on yer head and change out a swing motor in a excavator???🥵
ОтветитьHey brother can u pls show us a video how to cut side slope I learn a lots from ur videos u doing a great job thank u so much
ОтветитьGreat video and commentary! Efficiency is key for any job, especially construction! Time is always money!
ОтветитьGreat video brian. Here's a video idea. I dig on utilities every single gas lines cable water lines etc. I also haft to go do repairs on cables all the times from people who don't properly dig for them when going over them in a trench or spotting them for a drill shot. Maybe you could make video giving people tips and tricks how to dig on top of utilities I could see that doing well.
Ответитьgood stuff thanks!
ОтветитьAs a beginner operator this helps tremendously especially the crowding and loading trucks bit. Thanks for taking the time to influence and teach the generation coming up!
P.s. since I’m a mechanic currently thanks for teaching people to take care of the machines!
BRILLIANT!
ОтветитьIn the uk the spoil's suooosed to be the same distance from the trench as the depth of dig.
