Nice And I found a desktop full-text search engine Anytxt that is the best alternative to Google Desktop. It's free and easy to use, and can even search for text in pictures (OCR version). You can have try. Thanks

I followed all of your instructions and I'm still getting a message, 'No items matched your search' when I'm searching the contents of files in a folder. I rebuilt the index and still get the same message. Any suggestions on how to fix this will be greatly appreciated! (NOTE: this was working before the last Windows update.)
