Computer Stays On After Windows Shuts Down

I have a problem when I turn off the pc menu headset and the graphic card works, how do I turn it off?

I have an hp elitebook and I'll switch it off at night. Wake up the next morning turn it on and it's dead and you plug it in and it still says shutting down. It just doesn't switch off.

Just changed the board and facing this issue, non of the methods worked did pretty much everything

Got a new am5 pc and this had me so mad was like this is not right

I've done all this plus swapped power supply, video card, replaced memory sticks and it still wont shutoff unless I hold down the power button!

Why is it when I type that command in and press run absolutely nothing happens

got AMD based system and I tried the half of googles solution but it doesnt work and my fans are still spinning... :(

My pc is not even restart. Restarting loading . Fan, cpu all spinning. Is this hardware issue? Coz I cant shutdown.

It happens to my new pc too but after 30 or 40 seconds it shuts down , is it harmful for pc or should I leave it ?

My computer is staying on even holding the power button for however long tried everything it seems pretty much took it all apart and out it back together want in the fuck is this

Sorry, but this was not very helpful. I have Windows 10 which is currently at lastest update, along with the most current BIOS from ASUS. Went to ASUS website and Downloaded then Extracted what they listed as the current Chipset Driver (please confirm if necessary to Extract the Chipset Driver before trying to Update the Driver) as the version listed on ASUS's site was not the same version listed on Intel Management Engine Interface. It found the "new" Driver but it refused to intall it no matter which method of yours I tried. Keep saying there was a more curent Driver version installed. Thanks for any possible help you may lend. **I will add that my issue is intermittent and not constant when I click Shut Down thru Windows and the monitors shut off but not the computer.

i have a question, what if i unninstall my windows again and the problem still there? can you tell me where the problem is after installing new windows?

Hey can this also happen because of fast startup? I just enabled it on my pc because of my slow hdd so just in case my cpu fan and system fan and RGB isn't turning off
