It’s a cool concept. I thought about getting one for my dad’s P320. He’s not a big shooter and I feel it would be easier for him to remain proficient with the limited practice I can get him to do in the year.
But when I saw the price of a chassis I just bought him a PCC 9mm carbine instead.

Yeah cops do need it. Ive seen LEO's shoot a couple times, once in a "Civvie vs LEO" competition and once when my brother in laws department (Fish and Game) got the M&P and we all (him and I as well as basically his entire dept) went shooting so he could try it out to get familiarized we did their qualification course, I aced it no problem with my CZ and with the M&P which I was shooting for the first time (This is not me bragging about how good I am it was a super easy test) LEO qualifications are a joke. In the Civvie vs LEO competition out of 50 shooters (30 Civvies 20 LEO's) the top 17 spots were all civilian except a LEO that was also a IDPA competitor who came in 2nd. The bottom 10 out of 50 were all LEO's and its important to note how massive of a gap there was between the bottom 20% and the top 20%.

I just wish that most of the Chassis on the market didn't use Sig as their first/primary version. Older Sig models are fine, but Sig is speedrunning Colt's rise and fall.

For me, the pistol chassis just doesn't do it.
Sure I guess it could fill a practical niche, but I feel that if the situation calls for something like this then you're better off with a rifle or PCC with a longer barrel.

The recovery tactical blows that away, and it’s so much cheaper. They have many accessories for it. They make them for all types of handguns. I use mine on a Glock 19 their light smaller and you don’t have to SBR if you don’t want to. They also have a mag well holder for the front. If you want to SBR it, you can buy the stock adapter and the cheek weld. They’re very well-made not cheap junk. Just my opinion boys.
