But you kind of see that he enjoys killing Titans as a Titan himself, probably means that if he was human, which he is, he would love to kill humans for a greater cause. It's interesting how Hange experiments and humanizes Titans from the beginning even though she didn't know anything about them. These character traits were heavily masked via doubts like "Eren's Titan powers is making him like the Evil Titan Enemy"/"Eren is the protagonist so he must have the best intentions" or Hange is just a funny freak of a person, which is true because the true compassion from Hange is rare in a mass population. But the truth was they were always how they were.
