Can they ever recover fully from it, or do you know yet? Poor bebes...
ОтветитьSiete esseri adorabili che si prendono cura di questi figli del cielo, grazie! 🦇🦇🥰🙏💙
ОтветитьThank you Meg for sharing this video of precious Gloss big-wingsing Mandi, bless her heart!🥺🦇💕 She has the most beautiful eyes too! Thank you Mandi, Janine and all who are caring for the Bats dealing with this awful Paralysis!😓💕💕
ОтветитьJanine cradling little Gloss is so adorable. That bat, looking around and showing the whites of her eyes, taking in her situation, shows how smart she is! Get well soon Gloss! ❤️🦇❤️🦇❤️🦇❤️
ОтветитьA whole lotta cuteness!🥰🦇🥰🦇🥰
ОтветитьI mentioned before that the toxins can come from spraying insecticides on fruit trees. You responded that they are not considered a crop and weren't sprayed. However that doesn't take into account people with fruit trees in their gardens. Can they do blood tests to identify toxins?
ОтветитьGloss does look great and was thinking the same thing about her being very bright-eyed. Paralysis Syndrome is so awful, but the bats in Mandi's and Janine's care are starting to turn the corner.
ОтветитьI have been wondering for a while now… do bats get light-headed if they stay upright for too long?
ОтветитьSuch a heartbreaking syndrome. It's hard watching her be frustrated at something as simple as eating solids, but that's rescue work. Gotta get through the rougher bits before you get to the good ones a lot of the time. She does look incredibly alert and feisty despite her setback, n now we have the Mandi & Janine tag-team, I have no fear that she'll make it through. Thanks lovely ladies for all you do

ОтветитьThanks so much Mandi for showing us this beautiful bewildered girl.
I've sent a donation, and emailed Jenny, for the amazing work done here. Where would the batties be without all these wonderful people helping them through this awful paralysis ❤
These videos are critically important for people to understand that bats can suffer from illnesses, curable, including calcium deficiency (which I learned from Megabattie videos), that can be addressed, in many countries will not likely happen both out of ignorance and unwillingness to commit strained wildlife services to bats. Still, important to better understanding.

ОтветитьAdorable girl. Hang in there! 🖤
Ответить😢😢😢😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьThank you, wonderful person, for caring about living beings
ОтветитьThese bats would be lost if not for the amazing resuers and carers! Thank you!
ОтветитьThat noise they make when eating or drinking is lovely. ❤❤❤
Ответить:P + juice = :p
Ответить💙
Ответитьwhy is so much suffering on Erde?
ОтветитьThe paralysis must require an awful lot of extra work. Thank you for going above and beyond. They must be scared not knowing why they can move so well. To look at their sweet eyes with hope they will get better.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьBless those precious babies! ❤
ОтветитьShe's definitely getting better, with being able to use her tongue and it's even remaining in her mouth more. I truly hope she gets better, as you can also tell by the way she tries to move around. She's one very active little girl.
ОтветитьSo happy to see Janine coming up to lend a hand. These poor sweeties need so much care, and we don't want to wear out our Energizer Mandi. Love to everyone, batties, humans, and the rest of the assorted menagerie. May 2025 bring good things to all of you. (I think fondly of the Mandi farm when I eat the macadamias in my daily mixed nut snack. 😋)
ОтветитьThank you all 🍁🦇🇨🇦
ОтветитьI hate this syndrome and l am so thankful that people like you and Mandi care for these poor batties in their time if need. Thank you for sharing the beautiful Gloss
ОтветитьBless you, Mandi and Janine for helping these beautiful bats. With your amazing rehabilitation I hope the bats overcome this flying-fox paralysis condition. Thanks Meg for bringing awareness to all 💕🦇💗🦇💕🍼🙏🌿
ОтветитьThat pink tongue is so cute!!!.........What percent of affected bats recover from this syndrome with proper care?
ОтветитьThankyou MANDI for all you show on your aviary , ilove bats, - my sons dog , cross betweena frenchie and a cokerpoo, has a face like a bat - if he had a bats nose, not very much different x lol
ОтветитьGd bless all of the carers and may you have more than enough strength to get through this difficult time!
ОтветитьI suppose it's got to be a good sign that she's feeling better enough to be frustrated about her situation rather than just miserably resigned to her fate. It really must be an even more bewildering experience for them than for the regular rescues. Fingers crossed for her eventual full recovery!
ОтветитьQuite sad. Is there no cure for this?
ОтветитьSo So Precious😊My Heart Just Fills Up With Love❤& Tears In Eyes For These Adorable Bats & There Caretakers❤ USA
ОтветитьWhat a crazy disease! All of you have your hands full this year - that is for sure!
ОтветитьDo the tongues of megabats feel like the nice soft soggy ones of dogs? Do they also use that for showing affection and gratitude to you battie helpers, as do dogs? Obviously, dog and bat situations are different, but it meant so much to my long-departed Lakeland Terrier and myself, when he gave me BIG "lickie-kissie" sessions! I'd kiss his forehead, and he'd come back with many sweet little slaps of his tongue, sometimes softly whimpering with a joy that he couldn't contain!
ОтветитьThank You All for your commitment to the rehab, care, well-being and love shown to such souls in need of help like pretty Gloss.
ОтветитьPoor Gloss and her frustration at her paralysis. Thank you Mandi and Janine and all the carers. ❤️💕
ОтветитьFrom the outside it looks like gullian- barre syndrome. Which is terrifying and so frustrating for it's human sufferers.
# looks like is deceptive because there are so many possible causes. And in quite different animals. Just I feel so sad for them. Remembering what g-b patients said about it.
You guys are doing God's work, thank you SO much for all your effort and care for these wonderful winged animals!
I simply can't understand why this paralysis-syndrome hasn't been researched more or awerness brought to it. There has to be a reason for this to occure.
Virus, bacteria, a parasite spreading one of the two...There HAS to be a reason.
I hope they find it out someday soon.
🙏❤🦇❤
😘❤️
ОтветитьBless these ladies for helping these beautiful bats.
ОтветитьThanks Mandi and Nene for the patience with those poor batties!! They need some help. Thank you so much wonderful women❤❤❤
