You are superb!!!!! I wish I could establish that “rock solid foundation”!!! I want to swim, I don’t want to practice! 😖🥹😩😅😩. Thank you so much any way. It’s not that I don’t try. I do but then I get frustrated …..,, thanks.
ОтветитьThank you for being so responsive to questions.
ОтветитьTell me how you determine where to draw the inner circle for the ear, inside the first circle? Do you look where the ear is in the reference photo and go from there? I’m really confused because nothing tells you in the Loomis book.
ОтветитьI had never heard of 'The Loomis Method' but I realized that I learned to draw people from a book given me in 1986 by an artist friend who bought it in 1958. Turns out it's called "Figure Drawing for All It's Worth." by Andrew Loomis. Great text on drawing, composition and perspective. Good to see it in action now that I am back into making art 30+ years later.
ОтветитьWooow
Ответитьmesmerizing, soothing and relaxing
Ответитьamazing tutorial !!! Thanks. please make a tutorial on how to draw facial features on these Loomis heads
ОтветитьEs genial ese metodo👀💪👽
ОтветитьI've never been able to draw heads... except, now I draw shapes that definitely look like they could be heads. I don't think the Louvre is waiting for my artwork, but I can't wait to do more sketching! Thank you.😃
ОтветитьThanks, best explanation ever.
ОтветитьSuper
Ответить❤bello
ОтветитьDoes anyone know how to add this method of drawing heads to the body? I've searched everywhere and cannot find any 😭
ОтветитьThank you for teaching us this method i am very grateful to you sir❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьHey thanks for this. I bought loomis’ book but struggled to make progress and gave up. This video really helped! 😊
ОтветитьVery clear and informative. Thanks.
ОтветитьWhat a relaxing voice ❤️
ОтветитьDo you have a video where you make a face from these?
Ответитьamazing video... Thanks a lot sir
ОтветитьYou can tell this guy cares about his audience simply by how he's replied to nearly every single comment. Seriously tho great video
ОтветитьI keep reapeating myself, so I got it.
This picture helped me a lot
Thank you
That's what is all about fun!
ОтветитьI don't why I'm confused, maybe because I'm a begginer but I have a stupid question. In the straight on position ( the third one) where do you put the lips? Those cheek bones are taking most of the face so there's not much space for his lips. I'm sure I'm understandig it wrong tho.
I tried watching other videos but I didn't see them drawing the cheek bones so I couldn't find my answer. Would please fix me and tell me where I'm wrong? Thank you!
Hey, thanks for the amazing turtial! I just wish you'd make a second part on how to add the facial features on these heads. I drew all the heads with you but now I'm stuck as I don't know where to put the facial features on each head🤦♀️

ОтветитьI wish I had found your channel sooner -- I was originally in art college before being shuffled into the sciences (gotta follow the scholarships...) and I need to get back to my artistic roots! I wish I had never compromised. I enjoy science, I love my career and I'm happy with where I'm at now, but I feel like I neglected my art for so long to chase something that was only half-tickling my brain.
Thanks for sharing your videos -- I enjoy working through them as guided practice while I try and graduate from stick man to Loomis man.
Also just noticed that we have the same glasses.... e_e
Great minds think alike!😅
Ssoooo…Mandalorians are Loomis heads.
ОтветитьYou are hot!
ОтветитьWow,I struggle to measure manually the rule of the third especially in the chin, and then the curve of the jaw.. I kept erasing it 😅
ОтветитьThe best tutorial basic loomis method
ОтветитьThis is so straight forward. No Shame in using tools. 😅
My heads are deformed no longer lol
Hey sir, thank you so much your videos are helping me a lot in learning basics.i was thinking that making faces must be very hard but now after watching your videos it feels like it's so easy. I enjoyed your whole video. Liked and subscribed. Can i get a little help from you. I don't know how to draw facial features like eyes, ears, nose and lips of different personz. Can you recommend me a video that can help me learning them too?
I am from India 🇮🇳
Hi there! I am so excited to find you. But I am concerned that this is a year old. are you still doing your awesome tutorials? I pray you are. You have such a sweet, calm, about you and your tone takes the fear out of even trying the Loomis method. I am 78 years young and wondering where YOU have been allllll my life on my small art journey? Please keep making videos. and thank you so much for making these.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video, your explanation is so clear. You are an excellent teacher. Love your voice.

ОтветитьHow do you do a mans Adam’s apple?
What do you call you your Anti smear glove?
Thanks
I appreciate your quiet background music (subtle).
Great, haven't see the entire video but by the topic and introduction I can't wait my 9 yrs old son to get back from school and tryt his out.
ОтветитьI've been struggling to find a way back into art for about a month now. I could never seem to find someone who explained it in a way that made sense to me. After watching your first video on the Loomis method, I started to grasp the concept and started working in three dimisions on my own. I can't wait to watch the rest of your videos. Definitely a subscriber now.
ОтветитьI like when you say, is very easy but it take alot of practice 👍✌️😂
