Hi, doing this i will get "No bootable device" in the browser after trying to boot from hard disk, dvd, cdrom. Any idea what this could be the problem? My image is called .VHDX - is that a problem? Also, the image is created from a virtual machine running VMWARE Fusion on a mac.

I ported an existing WMware Windows VM into Synology VM Mgr per your very helpful video (thank you!). Now wondering if there's a way to make a Windows Desktop shortcut to the VM, though with the need to Power it on, then Connect, I cannot imagine how this would be possible. Figured I'd check with you.

Synology has Active Backup for Business which will create a disk image of your PC in no time In just a few short hours or less. You can then browse for that image using virtual machine manager and you can import and then run your VM. Unless there is a benefit to using VMware to creating the disk image, this ABB works just fine and in less time.
