In the i of the film there's a scene which is a masterclass in film-making. Sinuhe is going out in the marketplace, looking for clients. Meanwhile, blacksmiths are busy while artists are busy painting walls. Dogs are barking and doves are flying past a maid (Jean Simmons as she gathers water at a well. A dead person is being carried away as slaves carry a princess past everyone. This was an excellent overlooked scene which tried to convey everyday life in an ancient world.
