Where’s the video speed test! Regular speed test does not apply to your video speed. Look in your plan small print, probably in a area your not looking at.
ОтветитьIs possible to travel with the Verizon one ? Actually I have the T-Mobile and I travel and it works in different locations. But seems like Verizon has better network .
ОтветитьHey Nader, do you know if the Verizon UWB device has a removable sim card if you take it apart?
ОтветитьI have Verizon 5G business tier & StraighTalk 5G a little underrated competitor now owned by Verizon. Verizon is dog shit, it get burst up to 200 then falls often to 10-20mbps while straight talk stays around 100mbps with low ping good for gaming. Mind you i travel with StraighTalk 5G wifi because im a trucker
so i tried it all over the east coast and works solid. Uses the little white cube, the Verizon i had little only for today and it works best at the store lol it does work away from service area but im gonna take it down to another state tomorrow and see if it still works but most likely will return it because its not consistent on the east coast in rural areas
T-Mobile will straight rip you off. Stay away.
ОтветитьI’m really happy with the Verizon router. I wish these things were around 10 years ago. It makes cable companies like Spectrum obsolete as far as I’m concerned.
ОтветитьI've tried them all and Verizon has by far the best service and value!
ОтветитьDo you think you could run 14 people and a voice over IP system 14 phone lines on it?
ОтветитьDoes the Verizon home internet have double NAT type like TMobile home internet?
ОтветитьI had to disconnect the built-in T mobile and add my own router to make T mobile work with my devices. All ok for 6 months.
ОтветитьCurious to know, do any of these services throttle your speed in high usage situations like they do to our cell phones when we’re at a major event?
ОтветитьYep got the 5g home internet and it is absolutely fantastic. Left Xfinity the same day.
ОтветитьI just ordered Verizon plus. I'm going to see what its like. Cable prices are outrageous! Good reviews buddy! High 5
ОтветитьHow do you turn that dhcp layer/filter off in the small Verizon box!?
I went through all the advanced settings under wifi configurations , couldn’t find it! 😐
I cancelled my T-Mobile Home Internet last week. I signed up about a year ago & it was great… for the first 2 weeks. Then it went to crap. Every time I called T-Mobile I got the same excuse you did. The towers were always being upgraded. T-Mobile did give me several discounts to my bill, BUT, what good are discounts when your internet connection pretty much always sucks?
I recently had a customer rep at T-Mobile tell me that when it is Cell service VS home Internet service, T-Mobile gives preference to cell service, Which makes Home Internet Service even worse.
I would not recommend T-Mobile Home Internet for anyone who lives near Cleveland, Ohio.
HAs anyone tried these will a cell phone booster? Looking to get one of these in the near future but I'm seeing inconsistencies with the operation of both in the comments. T-Mobile has the best cell phone coverage in my area but the comments how spotting service and their unit seems very 'fickle' with regard to location, speeds, drop-outs; a booster with outdoor antenna might solve that. The comments on Verizon show its gotten more reliable but they have spotty cell service in my area. Thanks
ОтветитьSuper helpful stuff! Thanks!
ОтветитьTmobile home internet not available with my address so i took my 3rd cell line sim and put in a cudy modem router and guess what i have home internet. 😅😅
ОтветитьTmobile
Line 1 =$85 my line
Line 2 =$55 wife line
Line 3 = $00 extra free line use sim for internet
I get 700+ Mbps speeds on my T-Mobile Nokia
ОтветитьI have had my NOK5G21 gateway for over 6 months. I have been in places where I had only one bar on my cell phone.
places were people that lived there stated you couldn't us your cell phone without driving up this big hill closed to their home.
I could connect in their house streaming videos with out any buffering . So I guess I can only say what else do you need.
My tmoble works great
ОтветитьToo much talking. You could do this in 5 minutes
ОтветитьARC or ASK on the cube?
ОтветитьIf my neighborhood does not qualify for the Verizon 5G mmWave equipment, and somehow I manage to get one, will that make my internet speed better than just the regular 5G wireless gateway (the cube)?
ОтветитьI have had Verizons now for about a month. Totally satisified. They really upped their game in my home area. I had T Mobile service and could not make anything other than a wifi call from my house. Did a tower search and found new Verizon towers near my house. Went to the local Verizon store and found out the service was available. Set it up that day and have not looked back. Turned in my Spectrum internet box too. Have two new Iphones from Verizon and they work great too. For the first time ever I have 5 Ultra G service on my phone at home. I dont even use wifi on my phone anymore. Im getting 400 service. Very happy with Verizon!!!
Ответитьverizon 5g is in cities here u can get regular cable-- t mobile has 5g across the county-- its low band-- but they got people conneccted--- research it
ОтветитьI cut the cord with Spectrum. Very happy with T mobile.
Ответитьlove my T mobile home internet and SOOOOOOOOO GLAD TO GET RID OF THAT ROTTEN USELESS SCUMCAST
ОтветитьIf your T-Mobile download speed suddenly goes down by 66%, how can you find out the root cause? I'm posting here because this channel seems to be the most technical of the channels I've watched re: cellular Internet. We purchased a modem from a reseller (Net Buddy) and a T-Mobile plan from Net Buddy and an external antenna from Waveform. The system was working well in our rural area but for no apparent reason, our download speeds went from an average of about 50 Mbps (much better than the 3 Mbps we were getting from local DSL) to about 18 Mbps. T-Mobile customer service isn't saying or doesn't know. Any suggestions to research the root cause would surely be appreciated.
ОтветитьI like the t mobile home internet the speed is good and easy setup
ОтветитьSo you confused me with the address workarounds with Verizon. My home address is coming up on their website as LTE is available. Are you saying I can manipulate my home address and receive the 5G speed at my home when LTE is only coming up available?
ОтветитьHi NT, So Is your verizon tower closer than your T-Mo tower? are they the same tower?
ОтветитьNice vid. Can the Verizon 5G be taken on the road away from the service location? Looking for a good unlimited internet for my RV. Thanks.
ОтветитьGreat videos NT! I live in a rural patch here and I don't have hardline internet available to me. My question is, running T-Mobile (I currently have) and running Verizon 5g, do you find them competing against each other having 2 different ISPs in the same space?
ОтветитьWith any cell signal, the location is normally the deciding factor. Neither is inherently superior. Some places T-Mobile is king and in other places Verizon is king. If they are both good where you are, then decide for yourself which will best serve your needs. Personally, I have T-Mobile and I’m very happy. My home internet connection is to band n41. I have another T-Mobile hotspot that connects to n71. They default to each other so I never have a loss of service.
ОтветитьLoved all your videos on the subject of 5g Home internet so far. Thank you for your through reviews and hard work!!
ОтветитьYou was salty when you seen them working on the tower huh 😂😂. I was before too a few years ago with Verizon.. drive 2 miles and boom 3 white Verizon trucks with that red check. I was like damn 😂😂😂
Ответитьsigned up for T-Mobile internet service other day, Dec 21.
i got my email from T-Mobile thanking me for returning their equipment next day, Dec 22.
the end.
I have had T-Mobile for several months now and while it's fast enough, I've had drops several times and obviously the way they handle things I can't get local channels with streaming services. I am finally able to switch Verizon and was wondering if you get an actual IP address and such so getting local channels on streaming services would be possible again?
ОтветитьWhat would happen if you took the sim card out and put it in a smartphone?
ОтветитьI have Verizon 5G Home. Earlier this year the connection would drop for 2 minutes every two days (maybe every day?). That's obviously not useable. And it was sad considering my gateway has line-of-sight to a tower 40m away and the offices around the tower were completely empty (due to covid). I think they were constantly tweaking their network, but doing it at annoying times because I was the only customer on the tower and they didn't care.
Luckily that has improved. Now, it drops for 2 minutes about every two weeks. That means it is still not useable, but it's close to useable.
I still have Xfinity internet. Xfinity has dropped for 2 minutes one time in the last 8 months. Verizon 5G Home is simply no replacement for that. However, Verizon has consistent bandwidth and it has latency equal to or even 2ms better than Xfinity. And Verizon's upstream bandwidth is much better (100mpbs official versus 35mbps official, but 120mbps in practice versus 40mbps in practice), but Xfinity might be changing this soon and upgrade the 35mpbs customers 200mbps.
I never used Verizon but I guess Verizon is better than T-Mobile because I'm using T-Mobile and the internet is not good I have high ping on gaming even I'm living new York
Ответитьthanks for the awesome video comparing these I just got a nokia unit from t mobile I went ahead and ordered that cooling fan to help stabilize the connection I still need to move it around and see whats the absolute best spot in my home
Ответитьnew 5g verizan customer wondering how well it works i live in a nursing home so only way to get my own net is to buy this and friend suggested verizan 5g
ОтветитьRight now Verizon only offers 4g lte. Is there a possibility I can get the 5g service at my house?
ОтветитьHave you tested Verizon 5G PLUS Home Internet yet..?
Been with Verizon for 5 years
