What are your thoughts on the new talent tree for the veteran?? Im using weapon specialist atm. Running a shotgun build so when the gun is empty shooting a hoarde i found the speed increase after switching to melee weapon was decent....

The only pain in the behind are lone wolf players. Who refuse to stay within coherency. Why i dont know?? Everything you collect during a mission is shared between the team at end of mission. Until you reach lvl 30. Only use ordos and save the rest, use the sire melk bounties to get higher rated weapons until then. But do NOT waste his rewards on mystery acquisitions. They are crap...

A couple of tips for people starting out in Darktide is to rebind the dodge button. If you are playing on mouse and keyboard and have a button near your thumb on the mouse, bind it to that. It will help immensely so you're not doing gymnastics on your keyboard to dodge at a moment's notice. Dodging allows you to quickly sidestep a lot of incoming attacks. You can even dodge most of a boss monster's attacks with good timing. This really helps during horde fights because the horde can swarm on you and you might not have the space to run back or move very much, so dodging slightly to the left, right, or backwards will help you evade a lot of their attacks.

Blocking when holding your melee weapon is of critical importance in both Darktide and Vermintide games. While you are blocking, you can also push the attack button to shove enemies back. In Darktide, this shoves them back only a little bit, but that little bit can give you the space to breath since most enemies will not be able to attack while they are shoved back (dreg ragers are an exception to this, but they ARE enraged XD). Doing this consumes a bit of stamina, so you can't push forever. You can also hold the attack button down while doing the push for a special push attack on most weapons.

You can also hold block to revive your allies when they are downed. This is super helpful if they are surrounded and being hammered by a horde of enemies and you just don't have enough time to whittle down the horde before your allies die; however, remember to watch your stamina because if the enemies break your stamina meter, you will need to start over with the revive and it will become very difficult to revive someone with no stamina to block.

Finally, don't treat the game as a typical FPS game. The 'tide games are far more melee focused than most FPS games out there, while Darktide gives you much greater access to your ranged weapons compared to Vermintide, your melee weapons should be used for horde clearing in most circumstances to save your ammo for the special disabling enemies like the trapper and more difficult enemies like the more heavily armored ones to handle. Of course if you are running horde clearing ranged weapons like the autogun you can definitely feel free to use them for that purpose. Once you get into the cadence of blocking, pushing and dodging the game will become much easier to do on harder difficulties.

Its really fun they fixed nearly all issues. Ann Update 2 that just released is also a plus

Dumb question:
Is it possible to play with an AI bot team ever ?

The spirit deamos they are a nightmare plus you don't get any xp for killing them either so avoid them like the plague lol
