How to EASILY Install eXtremeRate BACK BUTTONS KIT on a PS5 Controller BDM-030 & 040 | Tutorial 2024

So this doesn’t work with a standard ps5 controller?

do i need to put the 2 ribbon cables on the sides of the battery if i only want circle remapped? can i just do the main ribbon cable?

Why did the extreme rate channel make it 50 minutes long when you made it only in 7 minutes

This kit is much simpler than the BDM-010/BDM-020, given that it only has 1 ribbon cable to attach. I also found the foam piece that was placed behind the ribbon on the back of the motherboard was unnecessary, as there was already one in there and it’s quite snug. Great video though, very well explained.

This took me 4 hours to do and I have never worked with a circuit board or such small stuff in my life. Give it a go and keep rewatching parts.

Great video!! But I have 1 problem when I press R2 it’s harder to push down than I normally would be but it only happens when I do a certain action

You didn’t even solder the red wire??? Do you not need it?

Is it the same for the RMB version ?

Why no soldering in this one?

I can just use the controller that comes with the console right?

I followed all the steps, the red light does light up when holding it. But wont bound to a key…

Bro I installed it but now my controller only works in the main menu not in game

I want to know if I can remap a INGAME keybind, not actually remap the paddles to a specific button😅
