Got 131 on the toilet, checked to see what level genius was considered saw 130> my hubris has skyrocketed, i am now an astronaut

I was tested in school and landed at 140. I tell people 130 because I feel like, given how little real benefit intelligence is its better to understate then give exact numbers and way better and less creepy then overstating. The only real difference between me and most people is I pick up stuff quickly, tell me about something and if I dont know about it I have no trouble understanding, including physics (although Im actually bad at math, music is more my thing in terms of numbers). I also come up with novel and superior solutions to problems. However best way to put it is this. Most of the time, say for instance when you change out an empty roll of toilet paper in your bathroom there is literally no "novel and superior solution" to changing out the toilet paper roll.

Its like that for MOST THINGS. MOST!!! my intelligence is worth nothing for a great deal of lifes events and challenges.

How is my current job going to determine my IQ at all, I taught myself data analytics at my workplace and now do full investigations for half my country in my field, can’t say I’ve done an IQ test in my 25 years though that was after intermediate school 😂

for question 3. The triangle will be black because every row has unique color of triangles. As for the lines, for every yellow horizontal line, there is only a blue vertical line possible. Similarily for blue horizontal, black vertical and for black horizontal only yellow vertical is used. Hence option 3 is correct because it has a black triangle, yellow horizontal and blue vertical.

But what i want to see, is if people score higher on a non visual, IQ test, or even if one exists, as I've never seen one.

For question 3, depending on how you do the pattern, 3 5 and 7 are all correct answers… you can logically find a pattern for all 3 answers. It’s a poor question

These are ridiculously easy and aid zero in quality of life or success therein. Obedience, discipline and the ability to humbly learn is more important than spotting obscure and useless patterns.

GRE, SAT, ASVAB, and other aptitude tests are not equivalent to IQ tests. Jordan's crystallized intelligence is receiving bad intel from his fluid intelligence.

Questions like that third one with the colored lines and triangles are bullshit. I found three different answers, each with their own validation.

I think what people forget when they criticize the validity of IQ as a measurement is that there are exceptions to every rule, but that doesn't defeat the rule. IQ tests for the most part are reliable and produce consistent results. People these days are so focused on the exception rather than the rule when it comes to many things. A consequence of liberalism. At least I think so. People say they don't like to generalize, but there is nothing wrong with generalization so long as it's well informed generalization.

All 3 of those puzzles were on the easier end as far as IQ tests go. In my experience at least. You could easily teach someone to solve those kinds of puzzles fairly fast. There are much harder ones that you will run into on a test.

I disagree that the answer for Q3 is option 3. I believe it has to be option 7. It must be a black triangle which is obvious. Also it must have a vertical and horizontal line color that supports the pattern of having two of the same color horizontal lines and two of the same color vertical lines in each row and column. I think that is the most logical answer anyway.

I cant believe how many people think its 7, its #3, you need 3 triangles of the same color, 3 bars of the same color horizontally and vertically, blue is missing one vertically and yellow is missing one horizontally, #3 fixes all 3 issues.

The funny thing is... in the 90's just for a laugh with buddies. We ran the i.q. test amongst all of us. The labor class people beat our 2 college degree buddies. Hand held intelligence is weaker than experienced. That why A.A. works better than licensed recovery. Idenification of the experience. Degrees don't give you that.

Well, the thing is that if you compare this IQ text and its results to the lives of actual historical geniuses, like Schopenhauer, Spinoza, Nietzsche, and so on, and so on... you will not find any coincidence with Peterson claims of what a genius is. They were mostly poor or certainly not wealthy. They were very, very, socially isolated and not successful in the way that Peterson understands this term. The concept of genius Peterson describes on this video is mostly the way he wants to see himself .
