Where is this taken?
Ответитьto the security guy: "I'm sending these photos to Bin Laden."
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьJust get on with it and use the film....stop being dramatic 😂
ОтветитьGood video on so many levels. I'm 75 years old and started shooting B&W in the 50's. What makes a color photo great is what makes a B&W photo great. Color is just more information.
ОтветитьBoring bla. bla.
ОтветитьSecurity guards are the ones who've failed the basic aptitude test to be a policeman.
ОтветитьBro was just about to cry in that ending 😂 all good man thanks for looking out for photographers tho
ОтветитьI've been doing some research for an event I am filming the end of this month, I have been looking for weeks on the perfect B&W look for the film, I wanted to say thank you for showing me this type of film, wishing you the best
ОтветитьSorry you got hassled. That's happened. Stoked you met someone to shoot. You should take her to dinner. :)
Ответитьwould like to work were are you in ca what camera
ОтветитьHaha, being British a roll of HP5 in the 1990s cost £5.....shot loads of it. I mostly shot it at 500'ish.. Back in the day your could just mail your film off with a hand written note saying, "I've pushed this negative to 3200, please develope as you think." Imaginge that, my local pharmacy/chemist and you could send a message as to how you wanted your film developed and printed!
ОтветитьSure glad that they didn't call it "HPV"
ОтветитьWell read the patriot act.
Ответить“Common sense”photography, as y’all like to say now! Know your rights 👍🏻
ОтветитьHad so many people talk smack and have an ego trip over trying to tell me “oh you can’t shoot here” you can’t take pictures here.” Mostly it’s just ignorant people who don’t know photographers rights. Never miss an opportunity to get a shot that you know is good!
ОтветитьWhat a genuinely beautiful video .
ОтветитьLove the vibe of this - always feel like I'm heading on an adventure when I load up my film camera!
ОтветитьThe security guard is just doing his job too. There is an increased security risk at Nuclear power plants and photographs of the exterior can be seen as reconnaissance gathering.
Ответитьalways stand your legal ground.. i don't let anyone bother me while i shoot... stay you, and keep shooting!
ОтветитьWhere was this? That place looks really cool
Ответитьwhat camera setup are you using for video?
Ответитьgreat video! extremely atmospheric
Ответитьby the way, those portraits of the lady are fantastic, remind me of one's done by a photographer named Rachel-brewster wright, in a video series by ilford on darkroom skills (selenium toning episode)- she used HP-5+, however, but the affect is simmilar.
ОтветитьTHE issue, is that you took a photo of a NUCLEAR power plant, and this could be construde as "reconnasance" , like in the MILLITARY, ie, before an airforce bomber takes flight (target photos!!!), or like taking photos inside a bank( to plan a robbery), or other public office (council/government building); remember 9/11??, THATS why people are 'scared' by this, what you should have done in hindsight, is go to the plant's visitors centre, and ASKED FIRST, or contact local council for a 'PERMIT' to do it.
ОтветитьMy photos came out flat. Is that a problem with the camera or the scanner?
ОтветитьHermoso video, me llena de inspiración te ganaste un nuevo suscriptor.
Saludos de Orizaba, Veracruz México.
Y gracias por el consejo!
what light meter is that?
ОтветитьI don’t think you put on enough diffusion.
ОтветитьI’m glad I found your video. I’m trying to go back to using film again.
I like your Mamiya too!! Happy shooting to you.
what is the beautiful landscape?
ОтветитьYou first mistake was pulling over for someone who wasn't law enforcement on a public road. If he was just a security guard I wouldn't have even pulled over. Security guard is not law enforcement. Just keep driving.
ОтветитьI have a survival bandana too! Where did you get yours? Also, incredible video.
ОтветитьI've gotten in so much trouble taking photos, lol.
Ответитьwonderful video man
ОтветитьMan. That's just beautiful. That atmosphere you made its fantastic.
ОтветитьYou handled that security guy perfectly. So glad you stood your ground and didn’t let you get your rights violated. He was in the wrong... no law was broken... you had more to fear from him than the other way around and you dealt with it exactly right.
ОтветитьThis is a great video!! Love the almost Twin Peaks kind of vibes it gives off :)
Ответитьnice pictures
ОтветитьWas the power plant governed by the Corp of Engineers?
Ответить😡 security guards are not law enforcement 😡
ОтветитьSpontaneity ❤️
ОтветитьThis is too hipster for me
ОтветитьGorgeous shots! Did you shoot at box speed? I always get a flat look with hp5, the mood you captured with it is perfect.
ОтветитьSince nobody yet seems to have zeroed in on it- the reason you got hassled (and will continue to be hassled) is because you were shooting a power plant. It's 2021, and you should expect suspicion shooting anything you could call "infrastructure".
Ответитьdude, you really earned my subscription at 3rd minute of video ;) GREAT! Video format is perfect, truly. Music, post-narration, color grading and awesome matching ;) I wish you to never stop what you doing, you deserve A LOT ! Great job :)
