This is now 2023. Right now there aren't going to be people who support you who love your art except maybe for the few artists that have their work outside of social media. Right now for the peanuts amount of people that will see your art you will either have people totally ignore your posts like they're not there or worse they will judge you if you are not some scammer because you want to sell what you create. They will be judgemental. None trusting. A nightmare type of audience who are not customers that an artist would not want to or should not want to encounter.

Could you post a link where you post on Facebook to get comments in a few minutes after posting??? I am in dozens of art groups on Facebook where nobody sells anything. Where did you post???

Social media is the worst place to start selling your work. If picasso was online starting out he would be invisible just like many great artists now. Social media turns many artists into algorythim slaves. If you wana sell, sell in person !

You come across very realistic.I have very little computer skills.I can paint and want to get my work out there it is already but to friends and family (free)! Do you have any advise for a 53 year old school who would like to get started if so please advise when or if ypu want.Thanks Troy

Can vouch for Etsy not working ... barely any sales in two years. Not that people on social media often ask to buy a painting but I feel it's still more personal. Hope to expand on there

How often do your husband sell? ... because I sell very sporadically unfortunately.

I have virtually zero followers on Instagram and find it really boring and uninteresting, i loathe social media but if i can sell a sculpture or painting id like that...its like waiting for rain in the desert though, most likes and follows i get are fake accounts

I sell a ton on Twitter. Best form of marketing on that platform is giving away free print to a winner. They would retweet and comment. You can write off the giveaway as marketing

I've been painting my whole life. People always tell me how great my art is, but I've never sold a lot, mostly matted prints.. I'm on Face book, Instagram, You tube. & have made some videos of library exhibits. How do I get more people to see these sites?

Hello I just saw your video. Im so glad your here. Im stuck and not sure where to go. I did a drawings-wolf pup. Graphite pencil. It 5.5x 8.5 size. If I sell the original one I cant sell any more right? Only the prints of it. Is the price difference for drawings and watercolors? Ill start with those questions. If you cant answer these questions can you direct me to where ever I could info for these askings. Thank you for your time
