nah. I felt it was complete and it was a good conclusion for the story. It showed the aspect of realism that sometimes the protagonists of the show can die. They are not immortal. They accomplished the task that was to the story.
adding more to it will feel forced and trying to please the fans. It's good just to leave as it is. It is sad but good conclusive ending of the story

Terrible ending. So bad that it has a different ending in the manga. This anime was amazing till episode 15, and then idk if they intentionally just said lets just throw everything away and screw up this anime or they did it unknowingly, but nonetheless whoever wrote the episodes after 15 should never be allowed to write ANOTHER WORD of an anime or manga. Totally throwing away Zero 2's core personality just because she is now in a relationship is total nonsense. Don't get me wrong, a character like her should have a soft side, but just like she did in the first 15 episodes. That's what made the moments special because it shows that a hardcore and crazy character like Zero 2 can express emotion. You don't just sacrifice the overall personality of a character just because something good happened in their life. If she was introduced that way that would've been different, but her playful, joking, and crazy personality is who she is the only thing that should've been taken away was the character flaw of obsessing to become human, because her personality wasn't a flaw, it is the core of her character. Lastly, this anime tried too hard to copy the story of the MASTERPIECE Evangelion which I did not appreciate. If you are going to take ideas from an anime LEAVE THAT MASTERPIECE ALONE OR AT THE VERY LEAST MAKE IT GOOD!!! Seriously, making a giant mech into a flesh and blood girl IS LAUGHABLE AND RIDICULOUS! I was SO disappointed in the story after episode 15, so much so that I will tell EVERYONE who watches this to just STOP after Episode 15 because of the disappointment and ABSOLUTE DUMPSTER FIRE that is the episodes that follow it! It is a shame that such beautiful voice acting, beautiful protagonists, a beautiful story the first 15 episodes had, and beautiful heartfelt moments ARE WASTED with the final episodes of this anime.

its been 5 years i love this anime my first ever anime that i watched in my life before i got into other animes but its sad to say that i have ran out of hope the anime itself is a masterpiece i love the story so much its a successful anime idk why the studios didn't continue the anime good luck for those people who still have hope for s2.

It's possible Darling In The Franxx season 2 is being developed and has yet to be announced, but given the amount of time it takes to produce a full season of anime, a Darling In The Franxx season 2 release date wouldn't come until at least Summer or Fall of 2022 at the very earliest. so i please hope that the season 2 will come out sooner or later at earliest we hope that u will be giving us more information about the darling in the FRANXX season 2 and we will be excited about the releasing date of season if it is confirmed thank you for your support as we have very high hopes for this manga.

I want Season 2 of Darling in the Franxx because this was forst anime to make me cry emotionaly and make me happy but still sad they didnt do season 2

I think this ending made it all the better just my opinion, i'm afraid it will become like code geass. It ended perfectly then it had other movies after the ending that kinda made the series feel less great because they continued where it should have stopped. I get that people want more but most of the times it won't be better. anyway I don't mind a second season just afraid it will ruin it by dragging it out.
