What camera equipment did you use for your videos? It's really clear
ОтветитьThank you so much! I really need these advices. Just starting my junior position and suddenly felt like I'm not good enough.
Ответитьgreat legit advice
you got a sub
i wish i had your hair
Ответитьjust about to graduate from a cs degree and found your channel, love love the advice in this video, please keep creating!
ОтветитьThis is bubbly and I hate it lol
ОтветитьThis video pretty much cured me of imposter syndrome.
While I do believe every software engineer should have mastery over the foundations and fundamentals of programming and software engineering, there is so much more that is important.
Hi Namanh, I am a software tester, have been trying to get into automation learning java/python for more than 2 years. But it never went successful, everytime I study/read/write few concepts of the language, I would get stuck, leave it, feeling how bored of it I am, its boring, I cant do if feeling, I want to do something else, which I don't even know what it is. What do you suggest, is it like coding is something not for me. Where people with 3.5years of exp like mine are earning lacs, I am still stuck at low wages. Feel bad, wanna grow, but coding seems not my cup of tea everytime I try on it
ОтветитьGreat advice!
ОтветитьOne thing I've learned as a hobby programmer is that you don't need to be a genius, you just gotta be a good information searcher
ОтветитьGreat videos ...keep the good work 👍
Ответитьyou are like a big brother too me
Telling me what to do
and your words makes me motivated
Thank you
Now I will work hard
code more
and learn to communicate with people more
which college you graduated from?
ОтветитьAbsolutely Bang on to the Real Facts!
ОтветитьI am new to this channel but so far I loved your contents! Keep it up :))
ОтветитьThank you brother for this video. It was very refreshing and informative. I will work on these things to become the developer I want to be!
ОтветитьThis is the BEST VIDEO EVER for everyone dreaming of landing some IT-related job.
Ответитьawesome content
ОтветитьSubscribed❤️🫡
ОтветитьLove your channel!!
Ответить@Namanh k your likes for yourself yes india county my computer science engineering progamming in C++ code for good work 🤓
ОтветитьI wrote 20K lines of code in C++ and I still don't know C++.
Ответитьwow I'm turning the page on a 12y freelance artist & art director career to pursue one gravitating around big data and that vid made me go from scared to thinking I might actually have the hardest parts in - communication, problem solving, curiosity and owning your mistakes have been my bread & butter for a decade. Thanks man, that's a breeze of fresh air!
ОтветитьComo aprendeste português?
ОтветитьYour videos are so good and your video editing skills are nice and sleek, I like it!
Thank you so much for the advices, watching your videos in the morning are my to go from now on to motivate my lazy self to code more, lol. ✌🏾❤️✨
Hey man, I just wanted to take some time to say thank you for this content. I'm trying to start my spanish focused programming channel and you are a source of inspiration for me. Your video exudes quality and I love the way you present and nail down every single topic that I want to talk about from my personal work experience. Please keep it up! You'll definitely reach the million subs soon with this.
ОтветитьI'm watching the CS50 courses & not even auditing yet bc I want to make sure I understand everything as it is taught. I can be a perfectionist & I have actual ADD (inattentive subtype). Considering this I want to learn in a way wherein I know the information will "click" in my brain so I don't have to watch a whole CS50 lesson & feel lost. The first lesson is discussing binary & I want to learn it well. How might you recommend one best learn binary as a beginner?
ОтветитьThank you for passing along your experience and insights!
ОтветитьLoved it...Thanks Namanh!!
Ответитьgg
ОтветитьThanks for this 👍🏽
Ответитьthe shit this dude says is true af. Especially the portion about people. If only I could remain an introvert at my desk all day doing design work and coding. As an engineer myself (although not a software engineer) 95% of the time I'm not doing engineering at work, I'm talking to people and trying to sell ideas to colleagues. ugh, shoot me, lol!
ОтветитьThank you very much for this video, honestly I was top of my class all school time until university, imposter syndrome never left my mind even until now, it’s been 10 years and still feel bad about myself and afraid even to apply for coding positions, my deep thanks to you 🌷
ОтветитьThis is a great video for not just software engineers but for other engineering disciplines as well.
I am an engineer in the robotics/automation industry and everything you spoke about in this video is exactly what I experience in my current role.
Auto tune?
ОтветитьI didn’t know you worked at Bolt. I interviewed there for the Support Engineer role (twice made it onsite and was told twice they couldn’t move forward base on my experience and there was one candidate more experienced than you). I also interviewed for the Frontend Engineer role and answered every question thrown at me and I was rejected with the recruiter telling me that “I wasn’t experienced enough to move forward”.
ОтветитьI really like your take aways, I think veritasium said it well. I'm paraphrasing, but It's not strictly 10,000 hours, but the experience tied to meaningful feedback on your efforts that leads to being a true expert and developing a skill or talent. I can put in 10,000 hours of doing something wrong, if I never get feedback from someone more skilled than myself in order to improve, it won't get me anywhere.
That being said I am sure some people are totally able to put in the time and find what works best, but surely not strictly on their own.
You definitely echo the same idea with owning mistakes.
I really appreciate your perspective on coding/programming as I am just getting into it and I feel like there just isn't the time in the day to work my 40+ hour a week job and learning a new skill. It's slow going, but it is really interesting to me. It's time committed over a stretch of time that I need to focus on, not learning it quickly, but learning it well. But... I also would like to learn quickly.
🙃
Very good video..the very first point "get better at reading" is so goddamn true..i often tend just go through the code, not understand what it does and then helplessly ask for help with my colleagues..but i did notice my colleagues take it easy , read line by line, ctrl+f for keywords like you showed in video which i barely even do..thanks for making me realise this ❤️
ОтветитьThis all sounds like general knowledge stuff but I have been doing this for awhile now so maybe I just haven't realized people don't know this
ОтветитьPlease write a book for beginners in software. I really value your insights.
ОтветитьI suppose as a programmer learning can’t be outgrown and to be a great software engineer, it takes self awareness and self improvement, I learnt a two or more from this video, thanks and keep inspiring, will keep improving.
ОтветитьI am at my college pursuing a national diploma in IT but my future career is to become a software engineer but thanks so much coz you inspire and motivate me a lot in your explanations
Ответитьbro, even my sister has a deeper voice that you😂
ОтветитьLoved this video.
So inspiring.
Imma be honest. This video gave me a rush of dopamine and motivation. Now, i want to work harder than ever and reach my goal of becoming a software engineer. Thanks Namanh❤
ОтветитьI'm half-way through the video and can't wait to say this is an AWESOME video!
ОтветитьYea. No. Tried and failed CS in college because I couldn’t program or understand basic concepts if my mothers life depended on it. Programming isn’t for everyone I guess. Even after 20 years I still don’t get it.
