How do you hear the people? Onboard audio? Wont that be picked up by the mic?

Very informative video. There's one solution that you left out.. using a desktop speakerphone with built-in mic. There are many of these available on Amazon for example, and a good one is around $100.

I love the idea of using my smart phone or my tablet for Zoom meetings, however, I find the screen on those devices are way to small for me to share different data like Power Point, etc. For this, I prefer my large auxilliary Monitor plugged into my laptop and using the same Logi Webcam you have. I think using the smart phone / tablet for Zoom would just be for conferencing. Maybe I am wrong.

Can you do the tutorial for setting up as a host of zoom meeting? I used Sony ZV E10 for video and noticed a marked difference in video quality. But, not sure what microphone to use for musical performance hosting?

The device audio is extremely low when I’m in zoom or sharing content ..although I have Ipad pro 2021. When I end the meeting the sound is fine. Hope you can help me ASAP

Question: if I use my iPhone for holding a Zoom workshop, and simultaneously sign into my laptop to increase screen space... can I sign in as a Host from both devices at the same time? The purpose is to increase the screen space so that I could devote it totally to the presentation ..thanks

I was hoping you would show the usb mic / headset setup...the sound is low in my headphones. I also have the Rodecaster Pro so I would have enjoyed seeing how you set it up for the call.

The problem I am having is a basic zoom call to 1 person, but my external webcam is not in sync with my video. Running audio from the webcam plugged in to usb. any ideas of settings?

Hi Steve, Thanks for the video. I have a logitech C270 and am using a Fifine USB microphone on my desktop computer because it's wired directly into my modem/router and I think that will lend itself to the best wifi stability for a show I host. How do I make sure the audio is coming from the USB Microphone and not the microphone in the C270? Or is that possible?

Love how you show the difference between the camera and mic on the laptop! Amazing difference. Logitech is actually really good! My question is how in the world do you sync the microphone in your phone/webcam to Zoom on my Mac Mini monitor? I tried this morning for a good 15 min. Nothing worked. I ended up just doing Zoom on my phone. I went to the Audio section of the settings. I need step by step, arrow pointing, etc, please.

Thanks. How about a Musical instrument audio interface. Many of my music teacher colleagues are trying to give private lessons on Zoom. The audio is pretty poor using just the iPad audio. I have a Zoom H6 that I am trying to use on my iPad for Zoom meetings, but it seems that the iPad Zoom app does not recognize the Zoom interface. I have the Zoom H6 working for other apps on the iPad, but the H6 mic just does not register as audio input. Thanks for you advice for alternative iPad mics.

I'm trying to record sections for a class that I'm going to prerecord using zoom. I found you because my sound keeps going up and down. I'm going to play around with it. I think I'll do the intro on my phone but I will have to talk while showing slides for most of the course so I guess I'll see If I can mess around with the mic controls in zoom and maybe see if this webcam has a speaker like you suggested. I did buy a microphone on sale a couple weeks ago (just starting out) so I'll try that too. Very helpful thank you.

Wow. This is so useful! I love your easy delivery. I teach dance classes and so I was fascinated with the mixer + mic set up for a higher quality audio video mix. Will try using my iPhone though for regular zoom meetings.
