ОтветитьI'm 71 and still love Elton John. What a voice!
ОтветитьTrès belle voix de Elton et très belle musique. C était la belle époque
ОтветитьElton John is one of the greats. In the pantheon of The Beatles and Elvis. This live performance is better than the recorded version.
Ответитьthe guitarist tho!
ОтветитьWhy did his producers play up the higher pitch in his voice, on the records? His deeper, huskier real (live) voice adds so much depth and soul to the songs.
ОтветитьSun king louis in France crazy He was trying to convert Whigging out
ОтветитьEstá aí um artista, que faz sucessos há muito tempo...
É impressionante a carreira dele...
His voice, at its best

ОтветитьThis performance was two months before the album was released, so this is likely the first time anyone in the audience is ever hearing this song.
ОтветитьWhen he had a voice, he had THE voice.

ОтветитьThis is indeed a song of its time, perhaps the definitive one . .
ОтветитьAmazing💜
ОтветитьCracking performance from everyone involved. Easy to underrate Dee's bass and Nigel's drumming, but they are brilliant -- and then they contribute the great backing vox as well. Classic song, legendary performer, excellent band. This is fine stuff.

Ответитьprefer this performance and artistry to original
ОтветитьGênio maravilhoso ❤
ОтветитьI can't think of any singer song-writer or composer who started out blazing for the first ten years of their career and are still able to deliver masterpieces in their seventies. It's probably easier for them to get music on an album, but it really lays flat. That's true of all the oldies who are still out there -- Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, who ever.
