If you don't see the button to "Make: Shape", it's because the pen too needs to be in 'Path' mode in the dropdown (for me it was already set to 'Shape'). However changing it to this might unselect the path, so ideally do this before making the selection/path. Otherwise, another way to do it is with the work path still active/selected, make a new empty layer, then create New Adjustment Layer > Solid Color. This should convert the active path to a shape. Alternatively, with the path selected/active, you can try clicking the 'Shape' tool instead of the pen tool, and again see if 'Path' is selected in the dropdown in the same place, and there you might also see a button to convert to shape.

ОтветитьThose who are not finding "Shape" button here is quick solution.
i figured out by simple google search, in photoshop CC when you select "Pen tool" than in top option toolbar you will see a "DropDown" where "Shape" is shown, click on this drop down and select "Path", the Shape button will appear and then you can continue from there.
thnx
