It makes me so happy that far cry 3s plot as simple as it is in some areas, is still discussed because of the allure and depth in some sense of the characters

Fucking love Jason and Vaas both. Best MC and best villain of the entire series...and perhaps all of gaming.

Jason was a daredevil/adrenaline junkie. After being taught how to fight and survive on Rook Island and Citra stroking his ego, it makes complete sense why he found enjoyment in the slaughter.

It took me this long to realize that David Benioff and DB Weiss obviously just played Far Cry 3 and wanted to put this scene in at the end of Game of Thrones

I really like how the interactions with vaas change in pov like all of interactions with vaas usually show him above you or free and in control but in the last encounter your finally to his level like how you are just as crazy as he is while it also shows that you are stronger and better than vaas being able to stand toe to toe to him but I could just be reading to deep into things

This is obviously a retcon, this is obviously not how they pictured Jason while doing this lol

I mean, sure, Vaas has the sick beard & haircut, the chaotic eyeliner, the raddest sayings, etc, etc. But when you look into the eyes, Jason looks way more like a terrifying psycho to me.

Im a lil late on this but ya know, the whole Vaas and Jason suffering the same paths is even more ironic that after Vaas failed killing Jason over and over, Jason failed killing him as well. Even if a retcon, the consistency with 3's story is still awesome.

Watching this again, reminds me that one memory show that Citra tried to stabbed Vaas' chest specifically in the heart but miss. So I guess that's why the Vaas survive in the secret ending.

the funny part is vaas killed the guy who told him the definition of insanity and he propably got insane doing it and then jason also kills the guy who told him the definition of insanity (vaas) and became insane along the way continuing the cycle

Now that I think of it, the GOT S8 writers were even more lazy than we thought. They copied the choreography from Vaas' death and used it for the night king's death. Hand stopping the initial stab with a dagger, Jason/Arya drops it, stabs with the left hand to end it all.

Damn with Vaas's pov we really are the goddamn villain.

It's crazy how turned completely around Jason was at the end of the game. He went from being grossed out because he stabbed somebody,to enjoying explosions and stabbings. The roles truly switched at the end.

You vaas has fk a lot of people but when he say Jason, citra gonna make you warrior Jason. You are so fk up.
You know that Jason fk up more than we could anticipate.
At first we simply fought to survive, but as story progress we literally became a one man mass murder army. The fact that citra really turn Jason a boi who never use a gun into blood thirsty maniac show how fk up the whole warrior-rakyat-tattoo stuff
