I play a game called Realm of the Mad God, and I'm creating a community discord for it. I'm making a bot with a purpose of linking a players game account with their discord account. The bot could also display their stats using the RealmEye API.

You called the backticks "tilde's" and "single quotes". The backticks are used to parse javascript in the strings that you were writing. Just thought that might help someone else, but other than that good information. Thanks. :)
