Come on... every metalheads jeans jacket or vest is unique... there needs to be the right combination of favourite bands patches and pins, hateful graphics and pathos.

Just wondering where you got the rings from because I have been looking for so long and the main three are just so expensive most places it’s like $50

I finished handsewing the DIO patch onto the back this morning, and I’m literally screaming. I haven’t got all of the other patches and pins in the mail yet, but I’ll be putting those on too as soon as I get them. I’m so excited.

I'm in my twenties and I remember the first time I wore my battle jacket my senior year. I was shocked that people actually thought it was cool, and that I made it myself. and then I started seeing the other girls put patches on their jackets 😂

for the dio shirt, what was the size difference between the vest to the shirt, like was the vest a large and the shirt a medium?

i managed to get my hands on an 70's levi vest, its the exact same as used in the show, it only cost me 75 euro

This vest is probably the EASIEST thing to make, and by far cheap as hell, cause NONE of the patches or badges are rare, and finding Levi vests is so easy you can get them from thrift stores, or just buy a cheapo Levi jacket and rip the sleeves off

Here are some experiences about sourcing the stuff... eBay links are all broken now so I did my own searching. (Try etsy also.) I found a complete set of inexpensive $5 rings from seller loving-unique. The mood ring can be gotten from CVS for $8 (thanks Reddit). Good quality patches (according to pic comparisons) from seller demogorgonthings on eBay, though they're in Spain and may arrive after Halloween (at this point in mid-October). But I'd rather have no patches on Halloween than shitty ones, since I plan to wear the battle jacket elsewhen. I'll print stickers and slap them on my vest if I need to, LOL. Hellfire Club tee for $15 from Party City, though Hot Topic's seems better quality for actual wear. The Dio shirt is everywhere, they're all knockoffs so check details and reviews. The rest 🤞. I spent $250 on the entire outfit, going cheap on everything but the battle jacket.

Disclaimer: I ordered all of the above today and haven't gotten anything yet except the locally available tee, which exceeded my expectations for only $15, and the mood ring is definitely at CVS but you may want to paint it or replace the mood stone with a black one with gold flecks.

Ik he’s just a character but as someone who’s into the gothic/punk/emo/ and metalhead styles I personally identify as a trad/death rocker goth I think it would be a fun way to know some bands that are older that I’ve never heard of because I’m gen z and 19 and also because it’s just a good idea to learn.. however idk how my church would feel about the symbol but I mean I could just say it’s from stranger things

I still have mine with a number of the beast back patch then smaller patches of venom metallica even had one that said fuck authority. Can't wear it no more but I'll never get rid of it. Good times and great memories.
