‘As an Australian’ I can tell y’all that this project will never happen.

Those who say it will have literally no concept of the sheer size of Australia.

And secondly,
Japan did NOT have a clear victory. Or we’d all be Japanese. Besides the well documented history on this event, which occurred on 19 Feb 1942, my grandfather fought in that battle as he was in the Air Force, based in Darwin.

I won’t go on about the rest of the documentary, but it’s important to ONLY USE accredited Academic resources for your research. Not just goggle alone.

Seriously 😐

This is a lot of garbage. He said we want to be a regional power. We already are. These ideas have been around since the 1880s. But none have been implemented. They have proven far to impractical to justify the expense.

Critics always say "It'll cost too much!" Australia loses about 33.53 BILLION USD (not AUD, USD) in tax revenue a year to corporations and wealthy individuals using tax loopholes. Plus our former conservative government never seemed to fail to find money to give tens of millions for dozens of projects going overbudget and seeing many delays. And it consistently managed to find tens of billions to waste on the NBN (an internet upgrade that did virtually nothing, therefore another $50BN AUD will have to be spent to upgrade it again just to keep up with the rest of the world), or giving COVID payments to companies that INCREASED profits during COVID (estimates were about $27-40BN AUD). Or spend $368BN AUD on American submarines, that America could and would have just parked here anyway because Australia is for all intents and purposes (if not officially) a vassal state of the US.

Australia pours hundreds of billions of dollars down the toilet on a regular basis. We have all the money for mega projects we could ever need.

There is away to fix australia lands. Bring those beavers from U.K and U.S to Australia. Give up Farmlands and Rivers for Beavers to build their Wetlands all around Australia. But that is not going to make profit now. But will make profit in 100 years. Again. Nothing can change the way those businesses are running. Nothing can change the way those farms are running. Nothing can change the way those human are consuming their foods and products from those farms. Nothing can stop those farmers from farming sheep on grass lands instead of inside a forest. Nothing can stop those cows farmers to farm their cows in forest instead of grasslands. Nothing can stop those big farmers from turning big patches of lands into a single weats farm. Nothing can stop those farmers from turning a giant rainforest into a corn farm. Just as sad as it sound. As bad as it looks. As depressed as it going to be for the future of "Greening" australia. They are turning australia into a farm. Not a rain-forest. To turn australia into a rain-forest? Those Leaders and farmers need to change a lot of their old ways of farming and doing businesses.😂 bring Beaver to australia? Some will even say it is going to ruin the Old australia.

By the way? Stop putting flag on Natural Reserve Area. Most of them are "Dying Forest - Waiting To Be Burn". I dare those Farmers of the Richest Country in the World could Tell Smokos to Fund Farming Right In The Middle Of Central Australia Where The Red Rock Is. Then I Dare Smoko and His Allies of Liars could turn all Farms in Australia right now into Forest for Koala.

Sound australia is a farm. Western australia is another farm. Nsw is a farm. Queensland is another farm. Why? Yeah because there is where those idiots like Smoko feel free to cut down forest and built farms 200 years ago. To re-green australia? As if Smokos and his kids can tell the whole family to move to the desert and start farming there and tell all farmers right now to turn their farms into forest. No? Yeah. Money talks. Big BS promise.

caspian report, Australia could produce 4 times the current amount of agricultural food and fibre using no more areas of farmland and no more water than that currently used. It can achieve this by using better more advanced farming methods and technologies, as well as better more advanced irrigation tech and better control of post harvest pests like rodents and insects like weevils etc. These pie in the sky diversion of eastern flowing river schemes are pointless while we are currently damaging our best farming land with backward farming practices.

My high school Gwography text book in West Australia noted that the annual evaporation rate was 144 inches or 365.6 centimeters in the Cattle graising areas.
This is the area that this foolish project wants to place Dams and Irrigate.
The dams in the inland would have enormous water loss and in a region with summer gumidity levels if less than 10 percent inly drip irrigation would get water to plant roots.
