I use tech weapons, primarily Comrade’s Hammer & Widowmaker, but I love the versatility of the Malorian -it’s a power weapon that can also be used as a tech weapon. And that melee fire is sick.

Reason why Johnny’s gun isn’t as effective as others, is that the Malorian Arms 3516 was meant to be synched with a Cyberarm. That gun was literally built custom in the early 2020s for Johnny and his particular arm.

I typically use Comrade/Widowmaker/Malorian/Ozob’s Nose grenades in playthroughs. So yeah, using Malorian only in the Reaper ending isn’t easy at all.

I tried at lvl 35 without much upgraded stuff and all there is to say is that I got bodied 😬

I purposefully did this ending underleveled and it felt truly blood pumping. I could die from 2 bullets and every time i would have to wait 5 minutes to trigger the ending. Finally beating it felt so satisfying. Like I had actually accomplished conquest of arasaka tower.

I would kill in order to see Jorinobu's and Hanako's faces after hearing the report that a single guy just stormed the tower, killed everyone including a Night city legend and also destroyed Mikoshi like some unstoppable force without even elaborating.

This ending would've probably been better if V actually raided the entire tower even killing yorinobu

The sense of sheer fucking power of gutting a megacorp of back-stabbing bastards like a fish all by your lonesome as the soldiers recognise how scary you as a character are is divine.

A gun capable of dropping a Cyberpsycho fan armored to the max from 50 yards, money was no object.

i did this being level 39, no way i could've passed the first two guards....

How to get this ending? I only got the get out from night city with nomads/alcelcados ending

There should be a special execution sequence with the Malorian on Adam Smasher where you put the Malorian in Adam's mouth and blast his brains.

V: "Johnny Silverhand and Jackie Welles send their regards. Say goodnight, Smasher."

Adam Smasher: Laughs "You're talking tripe, fuck you, cu-" Malorian gets shoved into Smasher's mouth and V pulls the trigger, the back of Smasher's head gets blown apart, chunks of brain matter on fire from the Malorian

That's not the very hard from 1.5, but still very cool looking.
In the lobby, a few seconds in the open, and straight to the end credits. Again and again. One or two hits'd take you to 15% health. Even with maxed health (700+) maxed out legendary weapons, YingLong[smart]/Divided We Stand/Psalm blah/etc and legendary rippler. With legendary contagion and 2x cyberpsycho active as often as possible.
Plus the constant lowering of max health by the artifact.
Admittedly, I suck (hence needing smart weapons), but still.

...no offense, but as a netrunner You can almost instantly kill the whole waves of enemies by just looking at them. That running around with the silly pistol feels weak and dumb. I am not sure why I even brought it up. It just feels wrong...

I wish that as you did this, Johnny was just playing Chippin In in the background as you tear through Arasaka.
