When I was in high school my world, and dreams stopped. In one day my plans for my future went up in smoke. I was in the 10th grade 16 years old. I was rushed into emergency brain for a birth defect that finally came to the light 16 years later. I have over come alot, because me giving up was not a choice. A year passed, and I went back into surgery for the birth defect on my spine. I can't complain I am still alive, and walking. I took the ACTs, because it was required to graduate. Do to my learn disabilities, and the brain injury I scored very low. The school counciler told me "Korrin your never going to make it through high school let alone go to college." I went to a two year college. No I did not finsh, but I made it long enough before I got sick again. I got one certificate. When it the paper was sent to my parents house I sat there crying. I was crying, because I had proof that I could do it even for just a little while. I took that certificate drove over to my high school. I walked into that woman's office showed her the paper. She looked at me with a shocked look. I said "never ever tell a kid they won't make it out of high school or make it to college ever." I walked out of her office teachers that witnessed what I did. They where clapping I got a few hugs to. I have a brain injury I have never given up.

I love this song and I love Ashley. I was always told I would never amount to anything. I'm here to tell you I have 4 yrs 4 months sober. The best music comes from those who have lived a lot of life. Ashley has done so and rightfully stands in her place in the circle.❤❤❤ love you girl. 😊
